I doubt this geeky man can help me out, but what the hell.
"It is about a man. I tried to kill him since I felt he was superior to me and I could not stand it. He got the best of me and now I feel like sh'it. I always win, and here some mere half vampire doctor defeated me. I can handle failure from time to time, but the man was so completely arrogant about it. I have never met anyone with such an ego." I tell the doctor.

"Ah yes, I see what you are. You need to win in order to feel good about yourself. Only by being on top do you feel that you are worthwhile. Well, you would be a lot happier if you accepted your failures. No one is perfect and no one wins all the time. Even the best people fail, in fact the best people normally fail since they are the ones willing to take risks and try new things. You have to like yourself for who you are. You are clearly a smart and attractive woman. A few failures do not make you any less of a person," Lightmer responds.

"What do you advise me to do, doctor?"

Debussy floats down upon the bar where Witmer and Victoria sit. He jumps off the roof and walks into the building dance and singing badly, " Black Dog" by Led Zepplin. He jumps up onto a small stage where a man was playing the sax. Debussy shifts himself into several small, yet well formed men. One playing a piano, another playing the drums, one on a bass guitar, and one singing very well, "Black Betty" also by Led Zepplin. Another even smaller man created by Debussy waves a sword like a composer's wand, making the all the men including the man on the sax to play quite beautifully together.

"What do you reccomend we do know, Roland!, huh?, Just sit here and wait for that fascist sonohomosexual personun to bring her back? I dont trust that maniac for anything..."
"I swear I'll kill him if he screws up and you better not hold back..."
It was a flood of emotion. Anger. Sadness. The prospect of losing a loved one. Trusting the man he hated most. What could be worse for a being who has never experienced them all at the same time?

Lightmer Witmer ignores the strange man and continues to advise Victoria.
"This is what you should do. You need to find worth within yourself and not based on competing with others. That way, win or lose you will always be on top of things. Furthermore, you need to look at this man. If he is as arrogant as you claim, it is likely that he too has problems with security. A truly confident person does not need to compete or be on top in order to feel good about themself. The most insecure person there is, is the narcisist. The more arrogant and thingyy a person is, the more insecure they are. The arrogance is just a defense mechanism used to prop themselves up and avoid dealing with their innefficientices as a person."
Lightmer takes another swig of ginger ale.

I listen carefully to the doctor's advice. It makes sense and gives me a new perspective on my life. I always felt this intense need to be the best, and now I see that I wasted my time and energy persuing the impossible. I am a fine person. I am smart and capable. I may have been defeated, but what does it matter? I will know better next time.
"I thank you so much doctor. You've opened my eyes to many things about myself. I don't care if I lost that fight. I am still deadly with a gun."

The men bow as some people clap. They all walk to a table where they sit still seperate and each order an Alexander.

"Yeah that's the spirit! And just think, maybe this guy has ego problems as well. If that is the case if is better that you lost. Had you defeated him it would have been a potentially crushing blow to his ego! You are woman enough to take your defeats with a grain of salt and that takes character!" Lightmer says to her. He looks out the window and sees a UFO.

One of the men see the UFO. " Good night people, its been great playing for yall, but our ride is here," one of the men say. All of the walk out side and combine back into Debussy where he jumps onto the roof and try and jump for th UFO.

I feel pretty good. I truly doubt the doctor's advice about Valmont, but it does make me feel a little better about things. I pat him on the back and pay for his ginger ale.
"Thanks Witmer, you really are a great Psychologist. See you around..."
I walk past the man who ordered an Alexander and out the door. I head back to my home and feed Socrates. Everything seems so different. I have built my life on a lie. I stop thinking about the doctor and stoke my cat. I was a fool. Now I know better.

The UFO makes a sudden turn causing Debussy to fail his jump miserably and he falls to the ground. " Oww!" He rubs his head. He takes out his caster gun and starts shooting at the UFO. "Die mean thing!"

Lightmer Witmer watches the woman leave. He made up most of the advice, but it sounded pretty good. The UFO vannished into the night sky and the band stopped playing. Finally when he had finished his drink, he got up and turned to the door. Something about the woman made him want to help her, as if she was a lost relative or friend. But he set her in motion, the rest was up to her. He walked out the door and passed Debussy.
"Have a good night now!" He said as he pushed his glasses up his nose and vannished into the night.

Debussy turns into Witmer and pushes his glassses up his nose. " He smart like father, wonder if he knew father?" Debussy follows after Witmer still in Witmer form.
