I smirk at the younge man and go back to my reading. I really want to annoy him.
I want you to teach me. You want me to terrorize people yes? These spells would help...

Alex and I are shackled and put on a black train. The windows are tinted,. There are scary looking guards everywhere. The ride lasts for hours, maybe even days. It is hard to tell since the train is so dark inside, the world outside looks like endless night.
The train stops in a desolate plain of snow. We are forced off and into showers. We are issued these tacky brown uniforms. Guards yell at us in Russian.
"I wish they would have just shot us, Alex. They don't really expect us to work, do they?"

Wow, she's a very rare breed... I push the newly filled bowl of soup in front of her.
"You look hungry, you should have some. My homeless shelter was recently shut down by Red Infinity. I'm guessing that since I couldn't pay the bills to keep it open, they took it over as an armory... I know of some people that would love a hot bowl of soup. Do you have extra beds here? This is a decent sized place..."

Kaschei regards her coldly. "I suppose you did do well in the fight against Raven. But I really dispise wasting my time like this. Can you not go to Kith, Machiavelli, Misery, or Genovia...the peons who work for me?"

I turn around and face Aristarchus. I heard that. You better not try to bite me. If you value your head and heart you will stay away from me and Natasha's neck. Plus, my blood will make you good. I say this mentally to him.
I turn back to Ketoleinen.
We want to join you. Our "God" kicked us out of heaven. We dont like gods either. And we can be of many use to... everyone

This is degrading, being surrounded by filthy workers.
"I certainly hope not, Dinari... I couldn't stand getting a blister..."
I can't believe that we couldn't just buy them off this time. I picture my hands caked in dirt, broken, and callous from working long, endless days. A chill runs through up my spine.

"I have one bed upstairs... You were working in a homeless shelter?... no, sorry... I don't need anything to eat."
I am amazed to hear that there are others out there that are pursuing the same cause that I am. I had felt so alone. I want to just reach across the table and hug him. I feel a smile coming to my lips.
"They shut you down? That's terrible! If you are looking for a place... I ... you can help out here. This is not usual, that no people are here eating. Usually there are too many people to feed."

Bassarov decides to go to his room to make some flyers for the upcoming concert. It will be a huge event. The biggest expression of anti goverment sentiment in years.

"Thank you, you are a very warm-hearted person in a cold hearted world. We need more people like you. My name is Gheran by the way, what's yours?"
I shake her hand.
"There are always so many to feed. The homeless shelter was overflowing as well, there weren't enough beds to go around, but people managed... I would love to help out if you need a hand! I think I know just where your soup-eaters went..."
I walk to the entrance and begin to shout in the streets.
"Who wants some nice hot soup?" Homeless people slowly begin to walk in.

"You can join us then. We can have our revenge against the so called gods of good. Welcome to the League of the Godless, the militant atheists of Red Infinity. Your first mission is simply, hunt down anyone who worships the gods of old."
Keitoleinen hands her a list of names. "These people are religious criminals. Find them and kill them."

This Gheran is too good to be true. The people start to walk in, and we walk behind the counter. I start to fill bowl of soup and pass them to people.
I see my rosary sitting on the counter, still covered in my own dried blood. I quickly pick it up and shove it into my pocket.
"My name is Chastity. I would be very happy to have you help me here."
The people's faces reflect their appreciation as they receive the bowls and go to sit at the long tables. I now know that the work of one or two people does matter. I am ashamed that I ever could have thought of giving up on what God has called me to do.
I pass another bowl to a pair of accepting hands.
