A Spectre of The Zealous Mind

As I'm walking through town I notice some posters. I notice there will be a concert. Not knowing much else to do, I decide to go into a nearby church I saw. I walk in and sit on a pew thinking of what else I could do

[Dahlia]

"Oh, well, Okay, let's go."

[Peter "The Owl"]

"I have been at work. I came to see if you were doing well. Is the kitchen functioning well?"

[Valodya Bassarov]

Bassarov sees a man in the church.
"Can I help you, stranger?"

[Hapolo]

yes you could thank you. I have been exploring the town and have seen some posters about a concert. Could you fill me in on what it is about?

[Adrian]

They both got in the car and Adrian turned the ignition. The car was completely silent except for a silent hum of the fusion powerplant as it heated the hydrogen isotopes to a plasma state. It took a mere second or two for the car to reach the peak of effiecncy in the reaction and Adrian slowly backed out of his parking space and set out on the streets, headed towards some large, mountain-like cliffs on the horizon.

[Valodya Bassarov]

"To protest the evils of Red Infinity, the rebels are having a concert. If you like you can come. It is in two days. Many different rebel factions will be there." Bassarov explains.

[Rodthingy Maestro-Reborn]

"Well, if you insist..."

"You don't understand, do you? My group's whole idea is to unite people who belive in a god, period. No finite beliefs, just a god, thats it. Your religion falls into that catagory. The secifics aren't important, just your bilief!"

[Gregory: The Storm Raven]

Gregory slides out of the stone floor, still flipping through his files. He glances around and spots Bassarov.

"Hey Bass, I think we might have a problem with your concert." He walks towards the rebel leader.

[Hapolo]

Okay thank you. I would like to come. But I have a question. If all the rebels are coming, couldn't Red Infinity come and wipe everyone out? They have nukes right? a gathering is a big target. srry for the pesimistic attitude but from where i come from, gatherings are bad unless you KNOW you can survive

[Keitoleinen]

"And you my good sir, do not understand us. We want an atheistic universe. There will be no religion or no gods."

Keitoleinen shifts in his seat. He is already bored.

[Patrick]

Patrick walked the halls of the church having recently returned. He turned a corner and found Bassarov speaking to somebody that he hadn't been introduced to. He decided to wait until they finished so he could talk to Bassarov alone.

[Valodya Bassarov]

"You both bring up valid points. Red Infinity may very well show up. But we will be unarmed and non-violent. If they attack us, it would only tarnish their image in the face of the world. They are already losing mass support. Just look at the political turmoil in America."

[Hapolo]

But still...are you really willing to give up everything you seemed to have worked for on one crazy gamble? I mean look at a lot of governments. They ruled on fear alone and if they drop bombs...that can cause quite a lot of fear.

[Valodya Bassarov]

"We could cancel the concert...but that would be submitting to fear as well. Red Infinity has never used nuclear weapons against civilians. But I would not put it past them. They tend to use single operatives to destroy large areas. It is more cost effective. We can not physciallly fight Red Infinity, that is why this concert is important. We would be fighting with ideas, not weapons. But you are right, there is a potential for danger. I could take a vote and see if the rebels want to cancel it." Bassarov considers the situation.
