"I'm sorry. I really don't know how to have fun or relax. Maybe I should go. I am ruining everyone's time. I do not understand why you bother to even talk to me, when I am about as fun as a root canal."
I drink my water quickly.

" Yes...but...it's the imperfections that I love. The role of perfect egotistical jerk is already filled. Your very different from me and I think thats why I like you the most.
You are not ruining any one's time, if anything your the only interesting person in here."

I smile slightly and feel a little less nervous.
"Well thankyou, Calithin. That does make me feel better. I am going to focus on relaxing. Yes, I will write a list of all the things I will not think about right now."
I take a napkin and jot down the following:
I will not think of: working the rebelion being nervouse not liking this outfit wanting to leave ....

Post by Gregory: The Storm Raven on Apr 25, 2004 14:28:19 GMT -5
Gregory flips slowly through his file folder of world organizations.
The recent, mainly the discovery of a nuclear power in the Neo Americans, had prompted a change of policy.
Infinity was getting on their toes and Gregory had a line drawn in the sand. God, he was mixing metahors worse than usual.
Rubbing his eyes Gregory puts down the folder.
LIF, Neo America and their Capitials allies, Eternal Light, the rebels thenselves, and his own Kegai with their city.
So many groups who existed in what he thought was direct opposition to Red Infinity's will and yet they did nothing about them.
How the rebels could operate above ground was midn boggling to the Angel. They should have been wiped out long ago. Only his continued alliance with Infinity kept him them from attacking his city.
As power as they were, Chi-kage was not a match for the government, not at all. They could not stand against them. Helping the rebels was as far as Gregory wanted to go. If it came to war, he knew where they would stand but he would not start that war.
Opening the file again he continues. Humans were so irratic.
A plan was needed, a course of action. But what to do?

"Sure," Kai said to Kisa as he handed her half of the huge pile he was holding, "We still have 1/4 of this city left..."
He looked at his map that he had bought at a store. Yeah, 1/4 he thought to himself as he reread the map. They went walking through the city posting up flyers as they also talked to each other.......

After taking a few hours to relax in my office, I reopen my doors to intruders/visitors. I check my messages and see that I have none. This improves my mood from earlier that day.

I stare at the walls in my cell. Sophia is still asleep. I just sit there, quietly pondering the universe. I refused food today, and will continue to do this. I still have power here, the power to decide my own fate. This annoys them. They told me that I will be forcibly fed if I continue to refuse food.
I medititate and focus my mind on not giving into my hungers. I am an anarchist, but I am also an Ascetic. Self deprivation is nothing to me.

"Rodthingy. Were you going to take us to our temple, or were you planning another destination? I'm sure you've sensed it but it seems our assailant has retreated. Perhaps it is better for you to halt your rush. Just look around. So many people, so many weak people living their lives under oppression and no vision of life. No one, including Neo America, Red Infinity, or LIF is willing to take us here, in this crowd. Perhaps this is the best place to share our teachings of the three worlds.
((OOC: Rodthingy. Note: The three worlds is a reference to Hinduism in which they contain Hell, the human world, and Heaven.))

After the Eternal Light guys leave, we raid the temple and burn it to the ground. That ought to show those religious freaks they better not cross Red Infinity. I don't get why people go through all the trouble to worship. They are like addicts or something. Religions gives them a fix so they don't have to look at society and think "Crud, we should do something about this."
We leave the burnt temple and contuinue our search for religious rebels.

Rave stands erect in the wind. The forest, a most peaceful place, even upon his own world. A place to contemplate and reflect upon the events of the world. He was quite a different 'alien' as the humans called him.
In addition to that idea, he actually thought interesting ideas and felt suffering, oppression, happiness (at times) which were surprising aspects of a rough, murderous creature as he.
Perhaps the only reason he hadn't been killed as soon as he joined the army was that Mother had created him in such a way. He was different; he was human - in some aspects.
He was created with the idea that he could blend easily, hiding his destructive traits, and conquer steathily and quickly.
Unaware of his movements, he found himself at the fringe of the forest, bordering the rebel grounds. All of these people will burn in my wake, he thought.
What a delicious idea.
But it wasn't for his to destroy or his to decide, though Mother had left it to his discretion. She had left it in his hands for a reason. Because she believed he was capable of good reasons. Therefore, he wouldn't randomly attack rebels or Red Infinity members... perhaps innocent people.. but not the aforementioned.

i am sad that the peace talks didn't work out, but happy there is a new movement for peace...and i was asked to join! this gives me hope that the world can be better, and that there are some people still dedicated to non violence.
I sit in the church and meditate on the release/absorbtion of the suffering in the world, and the oneness of all things.

Anutsaka, unaware of the destruction of their own temple, finds a hanging square in the middle of town. People do not huddle away at his ranger clothes. Perhaps he fits in better with these ragged clothes than his partner does, as they part like the Red Sea at his appearance.
Climbing upon the square, Anutsaka calls his white robes, glimmering in the sun. With this, Rodthingy and him begin their speech about how religions can work together.
One man speaks up. "Are you crazy? Religion is illegal! Do you want to get us killed! Get out of here!"
A mob circulates and begins stoning them. Before the first stone hits, a magical mudwork erupts from the ground to block the stone, growing transparent to a force field.
"God does not just ask for reverence, but gives power in return. All of you can become warriors against sin and trechary if you follow our path. There are many others like you out there. We only request that just a small bunch follow us. Then maybe those few will be able to relate their tales. Do none of you have religion?"

None of the spectators respond until one stands up and walks through the crowds, parting to let him through. He is easy to spot among the people, as he is the only one moving.
"If you will truly live up to your promise, I will join you. I have read the stories of the days of old, where religion was an area no one could penetrate, not even the government. My name is Valentine Feder and I am a Protestant Christian. If you will take me in, along with my son, Mark, we will follow your practice and hopefully become powerful soldiers of God."
Anutsaka nods, smiling and turns to the rest of the crowd.
"Does anyone here know who this man is?"
Among the shouts, the word, Spiritual Leader stands out. This town has been practicing in secret for a very long time.
"Are you indeed the spiritual leader of this community?"
The man nods as his son comes forward as well. The father is close to 30 and the son is near 16.
"Very well, Mark and Valentine Feder, you will be accepted into the Eternal Light and you will show the rest of this town what our Temple can do for you."
Rodthingy, Anutsaka, Mark, and Valentine walk away into the forest with Rodthingy kicking up the current for faster approach.
((OOC: Genki! Join the Eternal Light! Perhaps we can create an alliance between our organization and the Ursarians. Please consider it. Thank you.))
