A Reason to Exist

[Cloud]

I become very bored with the concert's new sond so I decide to leave. I leave and head to the lake to have a little peace and quiet. I lean against a tree and start to think. I look at the pond and see some ripples. I think its a fish and lean and again and pretend to close my eyes and see what seems to be a head come out of the water. I open my eyes and jump into the tree ti see whats in the pond. I look out to the other end of the pond to see somebody fishing.

[Coyote]

Coyote opens his right eye. "Hum? Hey I got a bi... yah!" He wakes fully with a start as something jerks him to into the water. Now under water he looks around.

Drowning isn't a problem of course, not for him. He glances around and does a double take. A woman with a tail and his line wrapped around her is floating in the water.

Coyote blinks a few times before swimming over. He reachs into his pocket and draws out his small work knif and cuts the line free. Strange or not it's quite apparent he's caused some trouble.

[Cloud]

I stand there about to leave when all of a sudden I notice the man is pulled underwater. I jump down and dive into the water. I look around and see the man and what seem to be a mermaid. I notice the man having a knife and cutting nothing. I suppose its the line. I swim towards them and get out my sword and help cut the line.

[Siren Lai]

Lai closes her eyes when the human pulls out a knife. After a minute she opens her eyes and sees he cut the line.

Lai swims to the shore quickly and pulls herself out of the water bu tleaveing her tail in. She looks to see if the human followed.

[Coyote]

Coyote swims to the shore and climbs out, grabbing hold of his long black hair and squeezing the water out of it.

Once he's done he sits down, looking at the mermaid, head tilted slightly to one side. "I caught a mermaid? Well, I was expecting a trout or something, not this. So, do you speak english?"

[Siren Lai]

Lai backs away a little. She shakes her head. "A l-little." Lai looks at the human.

This was her only chance to see what they looked like, then she could transform into one. Lai was scared through.

[Kai]

Kai tried to read Ravens mind but he had it pretty blocked up.

[Cloud]

I jump out of the water and gets on shore. I ise my foire power to dry myself. I see the man and mermaid on the other shore and I walk over slowy to ask if there alright.

[Hapolo]

I had finished some training and decided to walk around town. I notice a lake and decide to stop by. I amazed to see two apparent humans talking with a...mermaid ? !
I didn't know what to do so I melt into shadows and inch my way up to them. I need to find out more information on these supposed extinct creatures.

[Coyote]

"Oh, good." He smiles, and places a hand on his chest, "I'm Coyote. Sorry about catching you on the line like that, I didn't mean to." He tilts his head the other way, staying sitting, "So, why were you in the lake? I thought that mermaids lived in the ocean."

[Siren Lai]

"Mermaids d-dissappearing. I want more space for ocean. I-I need to see humans to transform i-i-into one of them. Get caught on purpose."

Lai says trying to use as least words as she could.

[Anutsaka]

Rodthingy and himself take a stroll in serene forests, stopping to pray along the way for the security of all the beautiful they see along the way.

What else could they do? They had given their speeches and now it would be up to the world to choose what they wanted.

[Coyote]

"You needed to see people to change into one so you got caught on purpose. That makes sense I suppose. And you need to do that because the mermaids are disappearing. Alright, I understand."

Coyote picks a stone up off the ground and starts rolling it across his fingers.

"Anything I can do to help? Either you need to change soon or we'll have to find you a bigger lake."

[Siren Lai]

Lai dives back into the water without a word. A few minutes later a girl climbs out of the water. Smilar to Lai, must not looking exactly the same.

"I don't like your air." Lai says standing and shakly and almost falling over. "Or legs." Lai rubs her legs for a minute and then stands up prefectly. "Where is the person in charge?"

[Coyote]

"Darned if I know, I just got here. You looke good for someone who doesn't like their legs by the way." Coyote yawns and stands, stretching. "Well, let's go and find whoever is in charge then."
