Returning an automatic smile to his friend, his gaze returns to the audience.
"Though it may seem like I am preaching unity, I am hoping that for just tonight, just for Bassarov and just for the people who gave their life for a cause, we can, just for tonight, hold off all violence. Tomorrow is another day and I will not condone violence then but I request this from all factions gathered here today. For the people who have passed away.
"These people here, laying before you in their caskets, gave their life for a cause they believed in. I don't care who they worked for and what they're cause was in this world. I dont' care if they killed 10 people or never hurt a fly. That is not my duty. My duty is to forgive these people and help on their way to heaven. That is it."

Zero probably would've left at the first word of remembrance or human feeling, but he stayed with the idea that Bassarov would like all the rebels to respect each other.
