The curse must already be working!! I begin to run faster towards Alkonost. When I reach a good distance, I dive towards him, my arm outstretched as far as it possibly can be. The next thing I know, I have a mouth full of dirt.

i laugh, which is kind o hard for a bird to do. "come on tovio.... i know it is hard. but you have to stay on your feat atlesat... your wasting to much time on the ground", my tail sways alittle in the wind, i turn and fly around some more glancign back

I stand again, and run towards him a second time, this time, both of my arms are outstretched. I will not let him escape... He's very fast.
I get within inches of the feather, and my foot gets caught on a tree root. My mouth is full of dirt again.
"Pfffft..... D'amnit, bird!"
I get up a third time.

I worry about losing Mikko, he's been acting weird ever since we got off the plane... I joked about him being a rebel in a past life, and part of me hopes that it isn't true. I like him.

Kinyo-bi genuinely did not know whether or not Hope was an android, but worries that he has hit a sensitive spot. She obviously has been dealing with this for a good portion of her life. "Would you mind telling me about your father, Hope?"
