Distant Noises of Desertion

[Ahriman]

I begin to follow Asher.

"Have I ever told you that I love your work? You should give me a lesson sometime."

[Kinyo-bi]

Kinyo-bi puts his hand on Hope's shoulder, she turns to face him.

Kinyo-bi shakes his head.

[Asher]

She smiles and says not a word to him as she leads him up the stairs to a big black door at the end of the hallway. It has a big red A painted on the front and she opens the door and leads him inside.

"First lesson is never let them know what your about to do."

With that she locks the door behind them and tilts her head looking at him.

"I can teach you anything you like. Pain is a repentance. And i do so need repentance. But from all of this happily ever after all is well bullsh'it. I cause and feel pain to make it real for everyone. Through pain they realize that they were wrong. And through pain i feel at home. Still want to learn?"

She leans up to him and licks his cheek then pulls back and slaps him hard where she just licked.

[Lina Jinei]

I ran through the hallway of the League of the Godless. While trying to find Jacque in France, I saw another vampire fighting him. This angered me. I was the only that's going to kill Jacque. The vampire had said that Jacque would be at the League of the Godless, but I had no idea where, so I decided to negotiate with the leader.

When I reached the office door I kicked it aside, only to find a janitor cleaning a mess there.

Uhh...do you know when your leader will be back?

[Catherine]

I giggled at his attempt on being poetic.

That's alright, it's good enough for me. And I would like to stay with you tonight, it helps me sleep as well.

[Brady]

The movie ends with Eliiot making all these new friends; Harry the hippo, Kathy the Koala, and Brandan the Bear.

We get up and head out the door. I check my watch.

8:45? I gotta teach a class in 15 minutes. Worse than that. I already missed one. Oh well, shooting should be fun. I gotta go. Bye. I kiss Usha on the cheeck and I run to the center, hoping that my watch is 45 minutes ahead.

[Richie Dollar]

I blow a rasberry as Dinari tries to have sex with Ruby. I whisper to him, " Like this "

I walk up to Ruby. " How you doing? Maybe you and me could go for a cup of tea, and everything else could be a mystery."

( Hey hey hey! ( Fat Albert ). That rhymes! )

[Ruby]

Ruby pats the kid's cheek.

"Maybe if you were older honey. But your a little out of my age group."

Ruby kisses the kids cheek.

"You should teach Dinari something through."

[Anna Lightsoul]

Anna balls her hand into fists. She would not give, but what hurt was no one was ever going to even try to save her. All her family were dead. No one would even miss her.

No one would care that Anna Lightsoul was being tortured. No one would even take the time to think of her. Anna's fist tighten as her nails dig into her skin.

Her hands start to bleed along with her wrists. D'amn they hurt like hell. Anna strains to lift her head up and looks at Jacque. "Ah... hello... I'm Anna Lightsoul." Anna trys to force a smile.

[Richie Dollar]

TI walk back to Dinari whispering. " At least I got a kiss. "

I wander around his mansion trying to get a picture of my surrondings.

[Kai]

Kai soon finds as he runs into the classroom that no one signed up for algerbra, which was a good thing because Kai had already missed the class. He looked at his watch, d**n he thought to himself, the next class he was supposed to teach had already started 5 minutes ago so he ran to it. As he walked through the door, he said,"Bonjour, class."

He started to count to see that everyone was there, un, deux, trois, quatre, cinq, sept, huit, neuf, dix.....
Ok everyone was here.

"Garcon, Fille, Garcon, Fille," He said as he pointed to both boys and girls, "Does anyone know the difference?"

[Jacque]

Jacque didn't know what had happened, where he was, or why he was here. All he knew was that his life had been saved by a mere thread. He'd lost more blood then a human should, he only had the Holy Spirit to thank for his life now. Luckily, his puropose to the savior was not yet over.

As his mind stabalized, and the chaotic swearling within his thoughts evened out, he heared the angelic voice from across from him, "Ah... hello... I'm Anna Lightsoul."

Opening his eyes he looked at her, forcing a smile, "You have a beutifull name mademoiselle. Mine is Jacque Chalon..." Turning his head he began coughing fiercly. He tried to lift himself up on his left arm, but gasped when pain ripped through the bone, feelign like a thousand shards of shattered glass.

Switchign to his right arm, he raised himself off the floor, scooting along, he leaned against the wall, studing the limp and bleeding left shoulder. "d**n, it is disconected...oh well..." biteing his teeth together he grabbed the arm, cracking it back into place with a sickening wet snap.

Leaning back he took his first look at Anna, "Pardon mademoiselle, but ah, do you know why we are here? One minute i'm enjoying an apple, the next i'm a human target for some psychotic looney."

[Grove]

Grove notices the two guards outside the cell near the door and decides this is it. He wispers to Swan in her ear as the concrete moves up her and Tovio's neck.
"Dont be afraid, whatever you do, you will be fine. Trust me."
The concrete envelopes them both. Grove closes his eyes as he melds back into the concrete floor, followed by the encased figures to his sides.
They travel through the walls, Grove supplying air to the two of them through the natural cracks in the concrete, making it 'breathe'.
They travel through the support beams, down into the foundation, and into the beadrock the massive structure is mounted on. It has been 2 minutes.
Grove guides them through the Earth, steadily moving upwards and out, getting distance from the buliding so they wouldnt be spotted. He sences Roane, hiding herself in nature, which only connects her to him even more. He heads toward her.
The plants around Roane start to sing, and grow greener. She knows Grove is coming...
Grove suddenly bursts forth from the ground, the dirt forming his body exactly like what it was, Tovio and Swan coming out much the same way on either side of him. Swan colapses to the side.
"Oh boy..."
Grove leans down and touches her with his hand, her wounds healing. He cant tell if she is breathing, and goes around to the side so he is looking right at her, and blows on her mouth, the rejuvinating powers taking effect.
"She should be fine."

[Roane]

When he leaves Swans side Roane runs and about tackles Grove to the ground jumping up on him and holding him close.

I am so glad you all are alright. I was worried about you. Thank you so much for helping them. I guess i did a bad job at trying to help. Sorry i couldn't.......

She looked down and hid her face in his neck.

[Grove]

"You did a great job. It worked out quite well thanks to you. I left them a little present in there but it would be best if we made a hasty retreat back to the HQ."
