Empty Days Before Our Devastation

[Siren Lai]

"I'm sorry for not helping at the oil spill! I was trying to help some one with something but they flew off." Lai says walking up to her fellow Green Party members.


"I hope you're not mad at me..." Lai sees a boy (Zach). "Ah.. hi, who are you?"

[Coyote]

"Sorry kids but the main office and I have got a history. If your going to go and see Violet then your own your own. Look me up if you ever need help though."

Coyote watches them vanish and returns to party headquarters at his own pace. After a short look around he goes outside once more, walking into Helsinki. He lifts a newspaper out of the trash and starts to read.

"Dangerous rebels," he mutters as he reads, "Stay in your homes after sunset... oh, a list of newly banned material..." Coyote turns the page looking for local news rather than global events. It's slightly better, at least it looks like it might be real news instead of government feed. "Forest fire. Must be where we had that little arguement with the Ministry... maybe I should take a look."

Tossing the paper into the trash once more Coyote walks towards the old green party headquarters location.

[Hoth]

Hoth nods. "Yessir." She walks down to the cells and sits backwards on a chair. Ths was going to be ssoo much fun, yeah right. Watching people get tortured, how the hell did she ever get herself into this mess anyways.

[Youkai]

Youkai had long left that tree, she had to learn more about the rebels and goverment. In order to choose a side, you msut make sure it's the ebst choice for you.

Youkai drops down from a tree infrount of Coyote. "You, you look like a smart person. Tell me about the rebels and goverment. Why do the rebels hate Red Infinity?"

[Coyote]

Coyote leaps back, grasping his chest, eyes wide, suprised at someone dropping out of thin air. "Holy crap man, don't do that!" Panting slightly he straightens and tosses his head, making his long raven hair ripple in the light. "Hate? I hate nothing. To hate is to lose a part of your soul. I disagree with the government for a few reasons, mainly where the general state of the world is concerned. The government has done little to improve things, in fact they've been slowly rolling downhill for sometime now. Speaking as one who has lived on both ends of the wealth chart I have to say, it sucks to be poor.

Have you read a newspaper lately? They censor alot of stuff you know. But as long as people aren't taught about that sort of thing, they never learn to look at their government with anything but admiration."

Coyote puts his hands in his pockets, "Ever see that old movie, The Matrix? It was a three parter with bad special effects, you might not remember it, it kinda died out, but this world is sorta like that. People just don't know any better. I'd like to offer them the chance to make a choice."

[Youkai]

Youkai nods. "Aye, tell me these rebel groups. In order to choose one I must know thier names." Youkai says sitting down cross legged looking up at Coyote.

She puts her hands on her crossed legs waiting for his answer while she could hear the animals in the forest with her demon ears.

[Coyote]

"Well there's actually dozens of groups. You see, the government is omnipresent so anyone or thing take disagrees is a rebel. There are major rebel groups though. The largest has no name, it's simply known as the rebels.They've been basically beaten back for now. The green party is simply a policial party but in this world that's rebellion. The capitialists and the geo... or was it ceo... neo...? anyway, the americans and the money guys work together sometimes. And then there's any number of indepents, people like myself who live outside the normal realm of laws."

[Youkai]

"Hmm... I shall start looking for my master before I join anything. he or she might order me to join some group.." Youkai lets out a low growl. "I'll kill the great grandaughter or whatever of that preist through.'

Youkai stands up in a swift motion and crosses her arms. "Do you know of anyone who might've owned a jewel for a short while?"

[Coyote]

"Alot of people have jewels. Could you be a little more descriptive?"

[Youkai]

Youkai lets out a low growl pulling out the same beautiful purple broken jewel she had showed Mesta. She sticks it infrount of Coyote's face. "Is that good enough?"

Youkai says before trowing the jewel in the air and catching it. Closing her hand into a fist she looks at Coyote. "Well?"

[Coyote]

Coyote, completely ignoring the jewel, is staring at Youkai, his face puzzled. "Hey... your a girl," he says finally.

[Youkai]

Youkai stares back at Coyote. "Well, thanks for noticing." Youkai puts the jewel into the folds of her clothes. "I guess that's a 'no'."

[Coyote]

"What the jewel? Sure, I've seen something like that before. A creepy guy with gray skin had alot of jewels and statets and stuff awhile back. He might have it."

[Youkai]

"Ah... you know I think I'll hang with you for awhile. I might run into him and I might not." Youkai shrugs.

[Coyote]

Coyote smiles, and nods, "Sure, I could use a little company. Let's go." The medican man continues of walk, moving slowly back towards the old headquarters.
