"The people need to be taught to save themselves. We are our own liberators. I am Valodya Bassarov, and you?"

"I am Cardinal Salvador Christianos. You and I are more alike than different. We both work to help the People, just in different ways." I distrust this Communist, as his beliefs (or rather the lack thereof) greatly offend me. However he may have the ability to help me achieve my goal, to put an end to Red Infinity.

"That is indeed true. In the end, it is not about ideals, but about people." Bassarov starts to feel a little faint again. He needs food and water desparatly.
"Perhaps if we ever get out of this place, you could join the rebels. There are a few Christians in our midst. It is a dead religion, but some still find comfort in it."

"I too have had the same thoughts, for I was once wicked. Peace is something that we must create for ourselves, and in order to attain it, we must embrace, and accept the fact that by being brought up, and existing in this world, such as it is, then we will be molded by it. This isn't to say that we have no control over this, for two different people can get two totally different answers from the same lesson, but neither may be incorrect. I am certain that there are those inside Red Infinity that work towards justice through it, and I am certain that the same is true for the rebels."
Kinyo-bi looks up into a tree. "Its aura is very calming, despite the fact that there are two wicked creatures at the foot of it. Peace is not something that can be given to you, you must take it. If you do not attain peace in this life, you will not find it in the next, your soul will not rest until things are right."

"It is not dead son. Like in the first Soviet Union, it is merely buried just below the surface. However you are right about the People. We will escape. We will escape..."

"You are very wise. Well, I am still confused. I am not sure what I will do but go forward."
++++++++++
I look at Kinyo-bi
"If there is hope for me, there is hope for Genovia."
I start to walk away from the sagacious demon.
++++++++++
"I will see that Hope shows her mercy, because if I can change, so can Genovia..."

"Yes, it is funny how some things never die. Time goes by,there are changes, but some things never die. We are all proof of that. I mean, look at Mr. Capitalist in the cell next to me. That is just proof enough."

I scoff. "The Neo Americans? Rubbish. THey claim to value freedom, but they are now run by no less than Count Dracula and Baron Bradford!" Both men I know from their past, and I do not want either to be in power over me. The one thing I hate worse than communists are nobles.

"It seems you know quite a bit about the FRA. Interesting. I know very little about them myself. How have you obtained this knowledge?" Bassarov runs his hands through his dark black hair, which is greesy from not showering since he arrived at the Ministry of Terror. "What I wouldn't give for a shower...."

"I should know, I used to work for them. Six more months and I would have had Dinari Dollar converted, but then Dracula had to come back. Do you know he's calling himself Kolov now? He can't disguise the truth from one with his eyes truly open."

"Kolov is...Count Dracula?"Bassarov says incredulously. "I have a dislike for vampires. They tend to be powerful and hard to be rid of. And he is the greatest of them....?" Bassarov does not like the idea that the American's have someone so poweful as an ally.
"I never liked the Americans. I really don't care for them now."

"I am glad that you have found a path of which you can walk on, I hope that it leads you to peace, Kith." Kinyo-bi was hoping he'd join the rebels, but isn't surprised that he decided not to. He does not belong with them, and maybe he is right, maybe even someone who is so filled with hatred and destruction, like Genovia, can find salvation.
He turns back into his fox form, and runs along the streets. Kinyo-bi feels an overwhelming feelng of contentness after getting Hope and Kith to open their eyes to the paths that lay before them.

"It only gets better." I am really getting involved and saying more than I should. "'Kolov' has the entire former US nuclear arsenal under his finger and, being undead doesn't care what happens to human life. Bradford wants to have the entire world in his pocket and will likely betray Kolov when the oppertunity presents itself. Kolov is less ambitious, he wants to restore the stalemate that existed in the latter half of the 20th century, that's where he got all of his power."

Hmm, so the general's a vampire... And Dracula, no less. For some reason, I'm not surprised, no human could be so boring.
I listen intently to what the Cardinal has to say.

"A renewed Cold War?....ne mozhet bit!!" Bassarov says in shock. "....Eto ochenb ploxoi...." Bassarov mutters to himself. "I should have been paying more attention to my capitalist foes. I thought them dead. Now it seems they will be much harder to defeat than they were last time...."
Bassarov closes his eyes. "I have to get out of here. I have to think. These new threats need to be addressed." He leans against the cell wall and meditates on the situation.
((have to go, have a good night!!))
