"This ministry is all new, so who knows what will happen. But I do trust Lady Violet, and at least it is something man. I mean, it is a gesture towards peace and human rights." I smile. I want this to work out. Some one has to stand up for peace. Pacifists are a minority.

Jon's eyebrows jump up and his looks suprised. "Um... thanks... but I don't eat..." he swallows, "I don't eat raw meat Asher. I don't suppose you have peanut butter and jelly for a sandwich? I don't want to seem ungrateful but... but that is raw deer flesh!"
Jon forces a weak smile, "I'm sorry... it's just... you have anything that's been cooked?"

I over hear Antero in the other room. He is wrong. Anarchy does not have to be violent. I believe in it, since it is the only way for there to ever be peace.
Only when we are our own rulers, and the power differential between people has been entirely liquidated, will there be peace.
But if this is the path to peace, we should not resort to violence along the way. Anarchy is not the end....it is just the means....to a more peaceful and truly just world.
I walk out into the kitchen and grap a shasta. I ignore Antero's violent rants.

Zinn looked shocked. "You can have protests here, without being run over by tanks?"
She smiled a little though. "But have you read any of my books or essays? The Locke Manifesto, On the Subject of Anarchism in Modern Society, Revisionist History: The Truth About the First Communist Regime and it's Fall?"
Zinn turned to Simona. "I don't mean to be rude, but how do you propose we destroy the machine without lifting a finger?"

I go back into the living room.
"Yes, I have read your books, it is great to finally meet you. Some get run over by tanks. Last week there was a demonstration in Tianenmen Square wherein many student protestors were killed. Red Infinity is ruthless, but some areas are freer than others. This is a freer city due to the capitalists who keep sending money to Red Infinity...."
I sigh.
"Corruption is rife within Red Infinity if they are letting the capitalists...the hated capitalists!....support them."
I sit down.
"The little things we do, even your underground books, are going to make a difference. I would rather see the movement grow, then make brash and violent actions against a government we are too weak at this time to over throw."

"Ironic isn't it? We were trying to expose that fact in order to facilitate an uprising, right before I was sent to prison. May I meet the rest of our fellow Anarchists?" Zinn changed the subject. She was eager to meet people and get a full grasp of the current situation before engaging in ideological discussions.

"F'uck talking and books and pamplets, and whatever the hell else you want to use to stir the masses. They are all sheep Simona. They won't be free until someone has blown up the fence."
Simona, so idealistic. With pretty ideas of peace and life. Screw that. Those pretty ideas keep us locked in the same pen the other sheep are in.

Asher smiles at him.
"Jon i can cook it for you if you wish. Or i do have regular human food around here. I am half human you know. Come on...lets make you a sandwich. I bet you drink milk too right?"
SHe puts the venison away and takes his hand pulling him into her kitchen. She jumps onto the counter in a seated position and opens the cupboard. She grabs a jar of peanut butter and the bread. She then puts it beside of her. She opens her legs and slids the drawer of silver ware open and gets a butter knife. She uses her leg to close it again and begins to make him a sandwich.
"Grab the strawberry jelly will you? ANd the milk. Come on Jon. we'll have a human meal tonight. But tomorrow i will feed you fresh meat. It will help you in the long run. As the beast you will need it to clear your mind. The blood lust is what causes you to be out of control. If we sate it you may be able to be coherant."
She has the peanutbutter parts of the sandwiches made and waits for the jelly. She wondered if he thought it smelled so good why didn't he want any meat. Maybe she was in heat. She chuckled lightly.

"Nuclear weapons are a waste of time. They kill indescriminately, and only serve to make the people who launch them look like monsters. Did you know, that at one point during the Cold War between the United States and former Russia, they actually served to protect peace? It's something the revisionist historians at Red Infinity don't want people to know. I believe that now they're telling young students that the USSR was far more powerful than the decadent United States, even at that point in history."
Zinn sat down. She hadn't sat on a couch in ages. In her eyes, it was terribly comfortable.

"Zinn, I know it seems confusing. There are many types of anarchists. I am an anarchist/pacifist with socialist leanings...where Antero is the more of the traditional, individualistic violent American anarchist. Sasha Kropotkin also lives here. He stands between us ideologically. Cheap Paradox and Irvine are also like Antero. You would also call Chaos and Wyrm the individualist type. Then we have Sophia, an anarcho-syndicalist."
I try to explain all of this.
"Although we disagree about the means, we all agree on the end. If you have any questions, please ask. Don't be shy at all. The world is a complex place."

"Don't patronize me. I know what those things are. I'm just learning about Capitalism from the other side now. I'm not so utterly confused," Zinn snapped. She didn't like it when people talked to her as if she were a three year old. It irritated her to no end. "Thank you for introducing me," Zinn said, this time not so harshly. She didn't mean to snap. She was very tired. It has been a long time since she last slept.

[glow=maroon,2,300]Thank you.[/glow] Janele puts the pills back into the corrback on the shelf.
She turns back to Patrick and Paradox and sighs. I see how they are related. She shakes her head and then looks back up at Paradox as he talks to them.
[glow=maroon,2,300]I have been with the rebels all my life. I couldn't abandon them now. I have grown attatched to some of these people and I have a job to help heal people hear. My powers are actually needed.[/glow] She says sort of in a reflective way.

"Oh...sorry...nevermind then. I merely wanted you to feel welcome with us."
I am used to trying to keep eveyone here stable and functioning, which is hard, since the guys here...are chaotic to say the least.
"Antero, you are not making any more bombs for a while. They are expensive and we lack the funds. Maybe once we get the ransome money from Richie, we can think about it, but right now we are totally broke."

Jon swallows and grabs the jelly and milk. She was sort of freaking him out with this cat thing but in another part of his brain he knew it was appealing to him. And he cursed that part of him.
He was a human boy, not some wolf monster. If what information he'd seen was true then this wasn't in invasive condition, as he had though. The wolf's mind was the same as his own, but it was controlled by his primal subconcuse side instead of his normal mind. And that scared him.
That the wolf was as much a part of him as any other thoughts, only given form by the condition of the curse or virus or whatever it was, then it ment he had always had it. He had always been the wolf. Only now it could act for itself.
Which made him think, what other parts of his mind could there be, waiting for a chance to manifest themselves in physcial form...
Snapping back to reality he hads the jelly to Asher. Whatever that smell was, it was good. Maybe is was the meat. He'd said he didn't want it... but he did. His mouth was watering at the sight of the deer flesh but he'd be d'amned if he was going to give into the primal side when it wasn't even a Cycle yet.
"Here you go," he says, handing her the jelly, keeping his eyes off of Asher and of the meat, trying to find anything else to look at. Asher's room offered alot of sights to see... but few that were any better to take in.

"I really don't care if innocent people die. What does it matter? So what if a few innocent lives stand between us and our anarchist dreams?"
I walk out the door, since Simona is boring, and I need to get out.
"Nice meeting you Zinn."
I leave. I don't know where I want to go.
