Battles Which Could Not Be Won

[Grove]

Grove looks at his glass as he sticks his finger in, stirring the water and ice. Roane notices that the water level however, is slowly going down...

"I see. Who is the leader of Red Infinity?"

Just then the waiter returned with Roane's salad. He then turned to Grove.
"Um. One minute sir."
He runs off with a plate and scoops up some of the rich soil in the pot and brings it to Grove.

"Thank you" Grove says as he looks back at Roane.

The waiter leaves, still just as confused as ever.

Grove places one hand on top of the soil, and as he does, his hand keeps going down as the nutrients in the soil are directly fed into Grove through his palm, just like a plant would with roots. After finishing half of it he lifts his palm.

"Good. They did not take too much from the plant. It needs it just as much as I. How is your salad?"

[Hikari]

I wince as the wounds burn, but it ceases as soon as she puts the band-aid on. I smile as i see Hello Kitty on the band-aid. I bring my knees to my chest and wraps my arms around them. I was curious when i saw her go to her freezer but grinned brightly when i saw the 2 red popsickles and lick my lips. I unwrapped myself and stood up with a bow and a soft smile. I took the popsickle gratefully and plopped back down on the couch.
I scooted over a bit so she could sit as well. I licked my popsickle with a wide smile. I soon finished the popsickle with a big "yum!" leaving some red juice around my mouth.
"Thank you Lady Violet, i feel alot better. What should we do now??" I asked/chirped.

[Lady Violet]

"Well we could watch a cartoon, draw, or play a board game. Which would you like to do?"

[Asher]

"No i'm afraid i don't get out much at all. Being intimidating has disadvantages. You see most people are scared of me so i don't go to public places all too much. Its just easier to stay in my room or 'office'."

She smiles at him and finally gets the nerve to take his hand.

"I have never been on a real date so this should be fun. The closest thing i had to one was i was going to execute someone with my friend....and Jon the owner just might be a capitalist. Red Infinity has a lot of people who are under their rule but are not communists or supporters in society's eyes. I know a lot...and can tell you it all if you want. I may have been cooped up for most of my life but i did learn about our wonderful government. They are brilliant in areas you see. What was it keep your friends close but your enemies closer? RI does that sometimes...and it works for them.

Now tell me can you dance at this bar? Can you dance Jon?"

She laughs a bit.

[Hikari]

"Let's watch some cartoons, then maybe bake some cookies or something, and then eat out!" i suggested excitedly.
I smiled and laid my head on Lady Violet's lap. I drew some circles on her lap with my finger. I turned over, to face her and i grinned timidly.

[Jon Talbain]

"Ya, it's a dance bar, that's part of the draw. I dance... sort of. I learned to dance by playing DDR and following website instructions. Still, I think I know a thing or two about dancing." As they walk Jon buttons his shirt up again, it's been hanging open for awhile now.

Jon leads them down the street a ways, turning a few corners, walking several blocks before the bar comes into view. A neon sign proclaiming it to be the Obsidian Butterfly.

"There it is. Shall we?" Jon offers his arm, smiling.

I click on the television and stroke her hair. There are not many cartoons on, since Red Infinity does not have a cartoon station.

It just so happens that Hamtaro is on. I have never watched Hamtaro, but it looks cute enough. In this episode the ham-hams are trying to grow a flower garder.

"Have you seen this cartoon before? I do not understand it very well...perhaps you can explain the characters."

[Hikari]

(OOC. Good! lol, hope Lady Violet/you liked it, cuz it is true! lol)
I sighed contently and snuggled up to Lady Violet. I watched the screen and smiled at her questions.
"Yes, i have watched this cartoon before. Many times actually. Though i don't know the characters names... Hamtaro is obviously the main character, he's the brave leader. He likes this hamster girl called Bijou who i think happens to like him back. But another hamster, Boss, likes her too and he gets very jealous and u know wat that leads to. lol. They have many friends like this gray hamster boy who always carries a sunflower seed to eat, and the twins who are mischievious. There are lots of hamsters, and they are all friends who have many adventures." I explained to Lady Violet. Hoping she would kinda understand.
I giggled as i watched more and more, i looked up to see what Lady Violet thought of it. I grinned.

"Well, it is a cute cartoon." I watch it to the end and then go to the kitchen.
"We could make those cookies now, but you should know, I do not cook very well. I am not used to baking things."

[Kai]

Kai wasn't completely sure, but he knew he was going in a sort of east direction. He wasn't sure about how far he had walked either. He came into a town. While he was there he went to a blood bank and drank some blood. After he was finished he teleported back to the cabin. When he got there he saw Brady had finished all of the food he had made. Kai went back into the kitchen and made BBQ chicken, and Breadsticks. Once he was finished Kai sat on the doorstep.

[Zinn]

"Bassarov," Zinn hisses. "We're a little busy right now." Then, Zinn smiles. It is the first real smile that she's had in some time. "Remember me? London, four years ago. I was sixteen, and just starting my writing career as an Anarchist. We had coffee. Petra was always the one who trusted you. I always thought you were a lying weasel who would just as soon take over Red Infinity as destroy it." Despite the fact that she has just insulted Bassarov, there is humor in her voice. It is obviously an old joke. "I suppose I'm happy you didn't recognize me. Perhaps Red Infinity won't either."

[Janele]

Janele follows Paradox's mind. The human that he left with had asked him who I was. She laughs in amusement when she thinks that she is a human. [glow=maroon,2,3000]'I am no human, I am a demon. What a mind she has.'[/glow]

Janele walks towards Patrick and hugs him. She looks up at him and smiles. [glow=maroon,2,3000]So.. you missed me?[/glow] She says with a grin. It was more of a statement than a question, but that did not matter.

They walk out of the medical wing and go into one of the main rooms looking for a familiar face.

[Siren Lai]

Lai walks around. She had gotten used to walking around the streets with the humans and alike. She wondered where the other Green Party members were. Probably at the HQ...

[Jase]

Jase placed his hands on the sides of the scythe stopping it.The tip of the scythe peirced Jase's skin a little.Jase grinned.Jase took hold of the scythe with two fingers and used his other hand to pull the chain.When Jase pulled the chain Kastube was forced forward.Jase released the chain(Not the Scythe.)And hurled a munch at Katsube.

[Asher]

"You know you could have left your shirt open. I really liked it."

She blushes and takes Jons arm. She gently holds onto it and rubs the top of his arm where her hand now rests.

"Ok so just so you know i am not that 'in'. I could probably wow them with my Asher self but since this morning i don't feel quite like that. I am more timid it seems. So if trouble breaks out you may have to come to my rescue and be my protector. I would be scared for the beast to come out here among your peers. I can be very scary when threatened."

She lowers her head as they pass under the neon sign.
