I sigh as the TUMS soar right through me.
Bass... I shouldve told you when we were in your apartment... but I just couldnt. You were so tied up at the moment... seemed selfish for me to impose my issue on you.
I uncross my legs and stand up. I open up my ghostly jacket and show Bass my slightly protruding stomach.
Im 5 months pregnant, Bass.
I smile a bit and lay my hand flat on my stomach.
And the Tums, wont help this...
I laugh a bit and sit back down.

He holds up a case, a lead one. Inside was the uranium needed for a nuclear weapon.
"Too bad you cant get out to eat it in the sun. Haha!"
Satsujin turns to the other man in the cell.
"Who might your friend be? A mouse?"

I see the fragments and vanish, but a millisecond too late. I take one of the fragments in the leg. The wind continues to increase, the funnel touching down not far from Peter's position.

I frown at Bassarov. He was taking this alittle to lightly. I mean... doesnt he know... I open my mouth to say something but I notice two people looking at us.
Who are they?
I point and them then go to tie my jacket closed again.
I look at Bass and say to him mentally,
I dont know why you are taking this lightly, but we have to discuss it later.
I smile at the two people and disappear, but I dont move too far away.

Patrick sighed and collasped onto his pile of covers. His eyes had tears in them, but he failed to cry.
The emotional strain was too much for him. He remembered it too vividly. Not wanting to deal with it anymore, he fell asleep.
Truely, the last thing he had wanted was for Janele to leave him.
