Negotiating Our Convictions

[Tarsky Merstov]

"Echo, for your information, I am no "mere human" as you say. My appearences can be decieving."

I turn to the new man, my NEW target.

"Well, she can't, Im sorry. There is a little problem sir. I may inform you, it is illegal to protest the government. You sir, are under aresst! Cage!"

I use my power to trap the man in a cage, one that cannot be breached, no matter what.

"I will give you one last chance, Echo. Live, or Die!"

[Chaos]

When Fate had taken Misery and Destiny away from him to have some talk CHaos had come to a realization. He had gone soft. Instead of doing what needed to be done he had let the woman he loved go off with a nother man to talk. No...not Chaos style. And hell the anarchists forgot about him...like they always did.

Sasha the pantywaste and paradox and irvine had forgotten all about him. No one gave a d'amn about the android it seemed. Not even his girlfriend.

F'uck them all then. I got a plan to make things they way they were. It has to work....i need my edge back.

Chaos sat down on a bench and began to reprogram himself....he would dissolve his emotions and store them away. Lock them away. He wanted to be feared as he was before all of this. He was pure chaos so he needed to exume that part of him. He would be pure chaos again. He would be the monster in everyones nightmares.

His eyes snap open as the transfers were finished. He had memories but they meant nothing. No one did. He was now as he was before...when he had hunted dinari.

He smirks and looks around. All of a sudden an appliance store bursts into flames a block away. The plumes of black smoke as the flames lick the window causing pedestrians to scream. He watches the scene like it were a movie.

Sweetheart I'm Baaack!!!

[Satsujin]

The man looks around the cage, slightly dissapointed.

"Well this is unfortunate..."

"But" comes another voice as the exact same man taps on Tarsky's shoulder from behind. He turns to see the same man, then turns back to the cage to see him again. He is in two different places. The new man smiles a cheesy smile.

[Roane]

She turns and walks backwards looking at him.

Grove i do wish i didn't have to hide. However I need to find something i can do for the earth while i am in hiding. I would love to do something. I could print propaganda on recycled paper...or forsake my hiding and go around trying to enlighten those about our earths perile.

Sure the government is not helping in the cause by trying to smote other activists but they had the right idea. They try to save her by using the punishment system. I just wish i knew what to do with myself. I was always the follower...the operative. Never the one trying to go out on my own.

I want to be special in this...i know everyone is but i want to be like you are. Because well Grove you are so wonderful and powerful. I want to find the favor in mother you have. I am selfish.

Echo crosses her arms tilting her head and smiling. "No morals? How could i say no to that. I'll join!" She looks at Tarsky. "Everyone dies some time. You can't choose to live of die when your time comes. You die. But, i am sure this is not my time to die."

Echo flexs her hand into a fist. Maybe she should start a fight with him. No, her powers were too weak after being in that coma for so long. Tarsky might be stronger then he looked.

[Satsujin]

((lol. Thanks. That is Vicious from the anime Cowboy Bebop. Satsujin has a disguise as that appearance now and will be going by that name. Vicious is my fav anime villian.))

The man outside the cage walks past Tarsky, takes Echo's hand and shakes it with an evil grin on his face.

"That is exactly what I was hoping to hear. You may call me Vicious. As for this guy..."

Vicious motions to the man which has the other him caged.

[Echo]

Echo looks at the man in the cage. "How is there two of you? I'm Echo, through i think you probably already knew that. What about him? I probably couldn't beat him snice my powers are weak after being in that coma just to say." Echo says nodding to herself.

[Satsujin]

"That is just one of my abilities. Replication. I think it is best just to leave. Come."

Vicious lays a hand on her shoulder and they both dissapear, leaving the replica of himself trapped in the cage, only to arrive in the destroyed Tokyo.

[Kallen]

Kallen swallows hard as she looks around her surroundings. She is in a study it seems. She knew she was locked in but was not going to show fear. She knew her time had finally come.

He had called her sacrifice so she knew that she was going to die soon. She tried to act brave while Kaschei was there but as soon as he left with the stupid bird she hung her head.

She cried softly and thought of her boyfriend...her soulmate Maeda. Would he feel respondsible again? She could not have him kill himself for her again.

~Maeda...No matter what happens do not blame yourself. I love you with all of my heart and soul. None of this is your fault.~

She sat on the floor hugging her knees.

[Echo]

Echo looks around. "Where are we? By the way, what are you?" She asks looking around and kicking lightly at a rock. "I doubt you're a human through you look it."

[Satsujin]

Vicious starts walking toward a crumbled building, now nothing more than several walls collapsed in on eachother.

"I am human, but have special powers. Freak accident, you know the drill. Stupid government caused it too."

He leads her down between a triangle shaped opening between the walls to reveal a staircase leading down.

"This is out hideout. Base of operations you might say. I will show you around, but then I will go back out to find more members. It is a new group."

[Grove]

Grove walks next to Roane. He reaches an arm over her shoulder.

"You are not selfish. Dont think that, and you will make a difference. Everything makes a difference. Making flyers makes a difference. Everything. You have made a difference with me too..."

[Echo]

Echo nods slowly. "Right. I would try to help you find members but i don't think many people favor me." She says looking down the stairs.

[Roane]

She puts her arm around his back and leans into him.

I am just...I feel helpless since i am no longer in a position of power. With Red Infinity i had a power people respected and feared. Now I am just Roane. A selkie. No one listens to just Roane.

I hope i make a difference. I forget sometimes it isn't the big things that cause change but the little things. Those little things cause and avalanche of events that make the bigger changes possible. Thank you for reminding me of that.
