Heh... I have read the info section. But it's not too detailed...

Yes, maybe sometime if I am more ambitious I can add more information. If you have questions about the Ministry of Terror, just post them here.

Well, for starters... it says it was "kind of like the KGB." But the KGB were pretty broad, and were more like an intelligence agency. But the Ministry of Terror (as portrayed in the comics for Red Infinity) are more like assassins and/or the "Leauge of the Godless" for all non-religious rebellions/threats.
Am I near the mark? Or totally off?

The Ministry of Information has since taken over information gathering and the public image aspects of Red Infinity.
The function of the Ministry of Terror at the present time, is to combat political rebel threats. So, their operatives are normally sent to attack, torture, kill, etc. any sort of political rebel who stands against Red Infinity.
The roles of the Ministries are pretty fictionalized. Generally, the Ministry of Terror sends operatives to fight and capture rebels.

Ah, okay. That sounds about right. ;D Now I only need to figure out who to speak to about becoming more than just a mere "Red Infinity Android" and getting into the Ministry of Terror. Like becoming an Agent or whatever their field officers are called. Thank you for clerifying for me.

Well, the head of that Ministry is an ancient Russian sorcerer named Kaschei (based on Kaschei from Russian folklore). You can meet with him at some point.
And sorry that I was not more detailed in the information section. I will make a point to work on that. I wrote it about a year ago when the rpg first started, so some things have changed.

Who must I speak with to create a branch/sub-unit from the Ministry of Terror?

Please do not double post.
The Ministries are understaffed and overstreched as it is. I doubt there are enough RI operatives for subdivisions.
What are you planning? You would have to talk to the admin, and then the admin might discuss it with the mods.

Oh, right.
I was just wanting to get the Ministry of Terror more defined. I was hoping on creating a more special-ops sect of the MoT. Sort of like the FBI... stay undercover as a "member" of a group for a while, learn their weaknesses, then take them out.
Not just sending in agents to destroy a city or whatnot. Think CIA/Secret Police. Like undercover stuff. But then again that might fall under the Ministry of Information.. hmmm.
What do you think?

I think there are too few people to mess with subdivisions. Ministry of Terror operatives do whatever they are ordered to do. There aren't enough people in RI to accomidate something as organized as ranks, and frankly, Kaschei is a whimsical sort of guy. It's sort of a "when I say jump, you say how high?" kind of thing. The Ministry of Terror operatives do whatever Kaschei, Lin-Sat, Lady Violet, or any other high ranking officials want.
Also, when I say do not double post, I mean you should either delete one, or copy and paste so the content is all in one post. I don't mean post another post as an apology, but leave the double post there.
If you mean secret agents that collect information, the Ministry of Information does that.
If you mean infiltrating rebels, that's a lot harder than it looks, especially since many of the rebels will be able to tell that you are an operative.
The KGB were the Soviet secret police. I'd say that's descriptive enough.

Alright. So the secret police, as far as the Ministry of Terror goes, is being an operative?
I'm just trying to figure out what exactly it is I'm called (not like it matters), so if someone asks, "What exactly do you do in the Ministry of Terror" they wont have an Android who stutters back, "Erm... I... eh, kill... things." ;D
And forgive me for being an ass earlier, Zinn. (Please?)

Sure.
The Ministry of Terror is primarily made up of operatives and torturers.

Alright. I figured that the MAIN purpose for Archetype 401 will be to capture or assassinate high-profiles in the world of rebels.
If Red Infinity operations are being harassed constantly by “Joe Smith” the leader of LIF Military, then Archetype 401 departs on a mission to capture Joe Smith, but if it does not seem possible, he will resort in destroying the said target.
I’m not sure if all operatives of the Ministry of Terror are trained for that, but Archetype 401 is. He specializes in targeting single or specific groups of people. Not just, “Kill all rebels.” But rather, “Capture Bass and bring him back, and if that is not possible, execute him.”
Or is that pretty much what all operatives are meant for?

I'm sorry, but you don't seem to understand the concept. When you say something provocative, you have to back it up. Saying 'my mom could answer that' is not backing it up. I am deleting all of this. If you want to talk about how great Bush is, then repost in the political forum.
