I smile back at Riku, before pausing as he talks. I furrow my eyebrows as i think this over. Then i nodd slowly.
"If you're agaisnt us then what are you doing here? Is there something wrong with Red Infinity? I hope i didn't choose the wrong place to be part of.." I say to him, with a weak smile.
I look worried and there's a uncomfortable long period of silence. I look at him, with a look that clearly stated 'i want to know'.

What?! It must be a trick! shoots through my mind. I do not yet know of Kolov's defection. "How do I know that I can trust you, human? You said yourself that your contract was your honor, and I know these communists wouldn't pay your $12.7 million dollar annual fee."

i smile at hjer again.. which side you choose is your own choose, they all have their ups and downs. i was trained by red infinity to be an assasin. but i suppose you can say i was on a down when they sent me on a spying mission..., i was to spy on bassarov, but instead i became their friends because they were kind to me, unlike most of red infinity. plus i sort of fell for one of them. which helped me turn even more..., but as i said... they all have their ups and downs.... i glance at the door then back to her, i didnt want to ruin her dreams of living a happy life with violet, who knows, it could happen...

I have no desire to go sword-on-sword with a samurai, even though I'd more than likely win in a matter of seconds. The truth is I still don't know why I work for the rebels now, since their beliefs go against everything that I believe in...

My demeanor instantly changes. "I am not concerned about wealth, Samurai-sama. I am however concerned with your loyalties. As far as I can see your loyalty is to the dollar, not to an individual or an ideal..." my gun hand relaxes somewhat, but my gaze remains fixed.

"I serve Bassarov because I find myself utterly impressed by his ideals and his values, as well as his goals. Though I respected Kolov's noble ambitions, I feel that Bassarov has a greater need of me, and thus I have arranged this so that I might aid him."

"I now realize that Kolov's ambitions weren't so noble. He is actually Prince Vladimir Tepes, and his goal was to start a war that would leave none but his faction and Red Infinity alive. I served him because he was superior to me, however I am outcast and serve none, which is far harder than it sounds..." my voice trails off. My gun hand drops.
