Kai walked back to the treehouse and fell asleep on a chair. He hoped by the time he woke up his body would have healed completely.

Bassarov returns to the rebel base, but is alarmed to learn that yet another dragon is attacking the city.

He quickly grabs his sickle and heads outside to face the beast of Louhi.

He sees that Hope and Kai are both outside, but the dragon is not in the area. He looks around in confusion trying to figure out if it was just a hoax or something.
