Killing the Pain

[Nigel Eckhart]

Nigel took another bite and sip and waited till he ingested it until he spoke.

"I am glad that this moment will be joyous to you. A milestone in your life, and I shall be around to witness it. Luck truly smiles upon us, dear Kayta..."

Nigel heard the word 'scared' and approached her.
"You shouldn't be scared. You are a strong and noble woman, and you need only ask of my strength and I shall lend it to you..."

Nigel smiled as he took another bite of his sandwich. He sipped his wine again and continued.

"Do you know where I could find some formal clothes as well? I think I still left my clothes here earlier, but if they aren't clean, its okay. I just want to look nice for your brother, and Dmitri as well..."

Nigel smiles at her. He was still wearing the jeans and sweater of Dmitri...

[Hikari]

As soon as I hear Riku speaking to me, I look down and blush. I glance at him and shake my head.
"Oh.. umm.. nothing." I mutter to him, in a embarassed way.
I sigh and turn back to Ikue with a kind smile. I try to hide the blush on my face as quickly as i could.
"I'm so glad you're my nanny! We can do tons of things together!" I chirp with the same smile.
I then turn to the newcomer. I couldn't help but glare at him. I immediately shake my head and force a smile.
'Oh look! Somebody who wants to kill you to make Lady Violet suffer is here' Dark Hikari chirped inside my head.
I mentally glared at her and shushed her up. I excused myself and went to my room. I dropped on my bed and sighed tiredly.

[Riku]

i glance at hikari then oto the guy. *i see... so thats why he is here...*, i stand up, holding the glass. ".. hey ikue. lets go back with hikari, and let violet talk to them. ok?". i look at her and then start walking back to hikari's room, i knock and walk in. "...you know... he wont get close enough to you to do that". i smile slightly. "you know i will protect you".

Alot of people enter the house and Hikari, the new nanny, and Riku go to her bedroom. I follow them.

" What's with all the people? "

I say as I sit on the ground.

[Hikari]

I sit up and glance at Riku. I smile slightly and nodd. I walk up to him and collapse in his arms.
"I know that, Riku. I just feel uncomfortable around somebody who hates Lady Violet." I said softly.
I sigh and pull away. I look up at him and blush alittle. Goodness i hate doing that.

[Riku]

i smile and brush some hair behind her hair. ..i know..., there seems to be an organization inside red infinity called the bloody violets..., thats their goal... to make violet suffer..., but dont worry. as i said, i wont let anyong harm you. i smile again and hug her alittle before sitting down on the floor.

[Katya]

"Actually I am sure that we could find something suitable for you to wear from one of my theatrical shows. You see i usually have some of the old costumes laying around the house. I am a seamstress when they need me to be and whatever i make i get at the end of the show."

She goes to the livingroom and looks into one of the many closets they have. She had a few clothing bags hanging in it. She brings out about 3 of them. and brings them to the kitchen where Nigel was still eating. She unzips the bags and shows him the 3 suits and looks at him smiling.

"Perhaps one of these three might catch your fancy. They are the only ones in your size i am afraid."

[Omadon]

"I have not been ideal over the years nephew. I spent hundreds of years as little more than a cloak, and a powerful mind, my physcial body little more than dust.

And as such, I developed a heightened sense of the mental states of mortal humans." He runs a hand along a shelf of bottles as he walks past it, "Anger, happiness, saddness, lust, rage, hate, sorrow, it all interested me so. How did it work? And why? And then I discovered the chemical balance of the human brain, through a number of interesting experiments."

He takes a bottle from the shelf, a tall blue one. "I made these. Emotions in liquid form. On contact with human skin they flow to the brain and influence their minds. But that alone is not enough, no. So, I made these as well." His hand drops to a lower shelves, on covered by a glass case. "More power, more lasting, and best of all, unlike any emotions humans normally feel."

Finally, he opens a drawer, one he unlocks with a small key, taking out a black glass vial and holding it up. "Then, there is this. Behold nephew, what I have named, 'Control #7'. This liquid, if ingested or spread on human skin, can change a person's emotions completely. It must be charged with magic before hand and that magic will direct the changes."

Omadon pours a few drops of the potion into a tiny crystal and waves a hand over it. Green light shines from his hand and the liquid changes from black to clear as air itself. Holding up the tiny crystal Omadon smiles.

"This, dear Dmitri, is your hope of love. If you can get the girl witch Kallen to eat this, or if you can get it to touch her, and only her, skin, then it will enter her system. Within three days of that contact, it will slowly and softly, remake her memories. She will see you, and not that priest as her dear one. And as far as she knows, it will always have been like that."

Omadon walks around the lab table to Dmitri and places the crystal in his hand. "I have done little for you in your life, dear sister son, but I want to make up for it now. If I can see that you have happiness, then so be it." He sighs and smiles, patting the man's shoudler's again, "You make me proud Dmitri. You look just like our father, Duke Taris Lee, the greatest lord the House of Lee ever had. I know you will do us proud!"

In a suprising move, Omadon embraces his nephew, for a brief moment. Releasing him Omadon steps back, "Find the girl Dmitri, give her the potion, and she will be your's. I saw her in the Ministry of Science once before. She was strong, strong beyond any Wicca I have ever seen, the choosen of her goddess. She will make a singular addition to the House of Lee."

Turning to face Dmitri once more Omadon nods, "She's a lucky girl, to have a man like you after her."

[Kisa Higurashi]

"Alright." I smiled. "I hope this turns out well, lately we haven't been able to spend time together as much."

We then passed by the destroyed cafe. I frowned, peering inside to see if anybody was still there. Nope. Nobody was.

"I agree, we both need a bath," I said, giggling. I took his hand and smiled up at him.

I entered the room just as Riku said something about protecting Hikari.

"What's going on?" I asked, confused.

[Valodya Bassarov]

Bassarov walks outside the rebel base. He sees Hope walking with some stranger, but does not make any note of it. She has many rebel friends, he is likely just the newest.

He takes a stroll down the destroyed sections of the city, where people mourn the loss of loved ones, of homes, and of keepsakes.

This makes him a little sad, but he continues to walk. At least 90% of the city is still in tact.

But, this is far from over.

[Flask: Lord of Fire]

Flask smiles, slowly, d'evilishly. "I know. We can go for a swim. There's a lake not to far. A short flight." He spreads his wings, still smiling, "Want to go?"

[Hikari]

I rubbed my temples as if i had a headache and sat down on the bed.
"Bloody Violet's?! That's ridiculous, what could they possibly have agaisnt her?" I reply increduosly.
I sigh and shake my head in dismay. I turn to the others and smile slightly.
"Nothing really, I just don't like that guy. Even though i never met him before... Something tells me he's up to something." I answer uncertaintly.
I sigh again and lay back on the pillows. I curl into a ball and close my eyes. When I opened my eyes again I was staring straight into a pair of violet eyes. I blinked once then twice. I yelped and kicked the person off the bed.
It took me a while to realize who it was.. but it couldn't be.
"Hikari?!" I gape. (Dark)

[Antero Black]

Simona enters the room and ruins my moment with Sasha. Annoyng b'itch.

"uck oghf.."

I get up and leave the room. Sure, I will help fight the dragons. Have to let the anarchists in on the action.

I leave the rebel base and head into the street to fight the dragon when he returns.

[Dmitri]

Dmitri turns the crystal over in his hand and smiles. Was it true? All she must do is eat or touch this and she will be his in three days? He was beside of himself.

"Uncle i am honored you think me to look like grandfather. I am so overwhelmed at your generosity. I do not know what to say. Except thank you and i shall go and aquire my love. That is unless you need me at this moment. I owe you so much already...and now i owe even more. I shall do as you bid of me. And when Kallen is mine we shall make our house proud. One small question however. How do i destroy the crystal if i just get her to touch it uncle?"

Dmitri bows to his uncle afraid any more show of affection might anger him somewhat.

[Illidan]

Illidan sees that Violet has returned so he gets off the couch and walks over to her.

"My lady, dragons are attacking Helsinki. I fear for the poor civilians there who will be killed. Can you do nothing to stop this senseless bloodshed?" He asks her.
