A World Torn Apart

[Fei Fong Wong]

"I..." I begin tentitively. "I have a presence inside of me. I wasn't aware of it at first, but sometimes when I became really angry or upset, I would black out for anywhere from minutes to hours to days. I would usually awaken with bodies and rubble strewn around me, and my gear always standing at my side. I... don't know what this presence is, but it is evil and I can't control it. I want to fight with you, I truly do, but I do not want to endanger anyone..."

[Miguel Guevara]

Miguel groans and rolls off the bench.
"Usted cobarde((You coward)). I will kill you."
He gets up and looks around. He is in the woods where he and Kaschei were fighting, but no sight of him.
"Cobarde..." I get up and head to Bassarov's apartment.

[Valodya Bassarov]

((I will pretend that you are at the base since i am not at my apartment and will not be for some time, Miguel.)

"I understand. I am the reincarnation of a Russian spirit named Chornebogk. That is half the reason I prefer not to fight. But I can relate to your plight. I can not hold against you the very problem I am also a victim of. But it does pose a delima. I want everyone here to be safe. I suppose...the best thing to do is to make it our objective to control that power."
Bassarov replies.

He turns suddenly when he hears some spanish, he does not speak spanish, though he knew more at one time years ago when he stayed in Cuba.

He sees a familiar figure.
"Miguel?"

[Virgil- The Prophet]

Green slime drips out of Virgil's wounds as he stumlbes back. "Hum? Your faster than the last dragon I fought... older too. But, I've fought dragons before."

Virgil smiles and flips the dragon off. "You've never fought a Hunter before." The green blood on the ground springs to life, lashing around Damascus's legs like slimy ropes.

[Samuel]

Samuel looks at Bassarov.
"I really do admire how calm you are about all of this, Bassarov, but Virgil is already fighting the b'astard and it looks like a stalemate from what I saw. More people would be nice."

[Fei Fong Wong]

"I understand." I say. "Would you have anyone who might be knowledgeable on this type of matter? I don't even know if it is a spirit or what, I don't even know what it looks like. Most of the people who've witnessed it have ended up dead..."

[Helene]

I whimper. Even though he is being gentle, it hurt.
-I know but your intentions were good. And I can handle my own. I've fought a god even, got maimed and got made into a coffee table. But I am still here... I will make it.-
I rubbed my arms and bowed my head.

[Valodya Bassarov]

"Fine, I will fight. Many of the rebels are tired of these endless fights. I can not expect any more, since many of us are just humans. But I can fight."

Bassarov summons his sickle in frustration.

"I will be out there in a moment, Samuel."

Bassarov turns to Fei.

"I am not sure, but amongst us we have a few intellectuals and a few who are studied in mythologies. I think communaly we can come to a solution. Now, I am sorry, but I have to fight. I would like you to join...but do not if you feel it is too dangerous."

Bassarov heads out the door to face the dragons.

[Damascus]

When the ropes hit his legs, Damascus immolates himself and burns them to ashes.
"I thought all Hunters were different. Fighting one wouldn't make fight you any easier."
His sword changes into a broadsword.
"Don't be surprised if I don't give a s'hit about not fighting a Hunter before, L.I.F. hasn't been around that long."
He lunges at Virgil, his sword spinning in a vertical hand to hadn swing again, but this time he drops down on his toes and spins around, slashing at Virgil's legs, then he springs up and slashes powerfully down, using the momentum to slash downward again.

[Miguel Guevara]

I clasp Bassarov on his shoulder and frown as his summons his sickle.
"Where are you going, amigo? Come... I was just fighting Kaschei a few moments ago. He must have knocked me out or something."

[Deetric Proudmore]

"But you shouldn't have to." He rubs her back with one hand and lays the other on her shoulder, near her neck, "You've done enough Helene. Why risk you life again now, and in a fight we're sure to win. There's just the one dragon now, we've almost won."

[Samuel]

Samuel looks at Fei, really loks at him, takeing him in, head to toe.
"There was an ancient man known as Sigmund Freud or some such thing. He described that the that the normal human had three consiousnesses. Sub, super, and current. The subconsious is where your primal instincts are held. I think that what you refer to is Sigmund Freud's Id, your primal instincts take over when you are stressed and you proceeve everything around you."

[Helene]

I sigh and rub my cheek against his hand.
-But as long as Louhi is around, there might be more. I... dont know...-
I chew on my lower lip.
-I just dont want sit around and do nothing...-

[Fei Fong Wong]

I square my jaw and follow Bassarov. "I will fight with you." I say simply.

[Valodya Bassarov]

"So it is you, Miguel. I have a lot to explain to you, but I don't have time. We need to fight some dragons. I know you are a vicious fighter though. I hope you don't mind."
Bassarov heads towards the dragon. He sees Virgil fighting it. The though crosses his mind that he should let Virgil fight and get killed.
He can always jump in the fight later.

But this is not the just thing to do.

"Hello Virgil, and...dragon. It appears you will no longer have to fight alone."
