Grove closes his eyes. He knew what Autumn said was right. Louhi must be stopped. He would never be reunited with mother if she was not gone. He new this, and feared it. At the same time...

Grove leans his head slighty to Autumn.
"I will not die... I have... seperated..."
The word stings at Grove's soul. He still pains from the loss of the connection. It haunts him always. He feels alone, helpless, unprotected...

We go to a tea house and I order mint tea.
We sit down together to talk.
"It is so hard. I love Genovia, but she doesn't return my feelings. She is so hard and uncaring."

One who is driven solely by hatred is no different than one who is driven by love. Balance is essential to a healthy spirit, which means supressing emotions is not healthy either. I thank you for your compliment, though." My tea arrives, and I take a sip.

Roane has had enough.
Enough Autumn! We have been constantly on the run because of you and your comrades. I was kidnapped and you attacked us and we had been trying to keep the others from being hurt because of my new choice of freedom.
We will fight if we have too. But Grove and yourself very weak. How can you two stand against anyone in your conditions? I will go and i will help. I must to save the earth. And my love.
She turns from Autumn and goes to Grove.
Grove hold on a bit longer. I will make things as they were before. You will be reunited with the earth even if i have to die in the process. You are to important for us to lose. And if you lose that wonderful spirit of yours you will be lost. I will not let you fade away! No matter the costs you shall not!
Roane bends to him and kisses his cheek then sits on the side of his bed. She holds his hand trying to think of a plan of attack so she can save her love. But how?

Damascus suddenly looks drained, like a recovering druggie. He stops the transformation he was going through and falls to his knees. He sheaths his sword and looks up at Set and Lady Violet.
"I give up. My body is drained. I couldn't have conquered Bassarov even if I had used all of the power she gave me. Help me! Please. She won't let me quit, I had to fight her to keep from killing that man in the robot."
Damascus draws in a shaky breath and chokes out the next few words.
"Help me! She's a part of me now. She'll always be there, no matter what. I can't supress her forever. Please, do something, anything!"
He sighs heavily and bows his head.
"Anything to get her away from me for atleast a little while."
