It is true that we were created by humans. However I am sure you are familiar with one human called Charles Darwin and his theory of evolution. According to his simplistic terms "life" adapts itself to serve it's enviroment. In Darwinian terms we are the next step in human evolution, we are indipendant of the enviroment, and we were created to replace, not serve, organic "life."

I stop jumping when I see Zero giggle.

Bassarov tries to open the chest, but it is sealed shut. He tries with all his might to pry it open to no avail.
"Can you open this, Zero?" Bassarov asks.
He is not sure what could possibly be inside.

You are correct only in the respect that you can be controlled... We can destroy life far more easialy than we can be destroyed. Humans too can be "deactivated" just as easialy. Now tell me, you are obviously familiar with the concept of pleasure... Are you equally familiar with that of pain?
