Bassarov returns to the base, only to find that Eragon has not yet been defeated, However, Kai, Usha, and Kisa were reportedly wearing him down when Bassarov last checked.
He would step in, but feels that the other rebels need more fighting experience. Such would only serve to strengthed the rebel movement.
So rather than help, he decides to wait until things get more dire.

( Oh, whoops.  ) Ok, I'll have to thank him the next time I visit the afterlife.Suddenly, I get hurled through a couple walls in the rebel base, back to my body. The open wounds on my side, and every cut is healed. Wow. That was quick.I stand up, a little wobbly. I walk back outside. Everything seems normal. |

Kai felt sorry for Eragon. He shouldn't have died that way. Kai walked away saddened by the death of Eragon.
It should not have ended that way.

I felt unwelcome at that time, everybody mourned Eragon's death more then mine.

Sitting outside Violet's room, Damascus began to wonder how his life would be complicated by working for Red Infinity directly. He had never actually done any work for them unless he had been under Louhi's control, and then not to the wishes of the actual organization. He also pondered on his usefulness to Lady Violet. After all, he had been outside her room all day and was overlooked at every turn. But, then again, She had Set. But she had also saved his life from Louhi, albeit she didn't complete rid him of her, but still she tried to save him, no one had ever tried sacrifcing anything for him, not even their time. Then he looks up at the wall and starses into nothing for a little while. Then he laughs quitely to himself.
Yes, I'm still up, so you can just go away for now. Your not getting to me again. Feel that? That's her doing and your not getting past it and me. So you can just leave now....... I thought you'd say something like that.
He leans back against the wall, his head hanging in sorrow and weariness. He starts thinking of the future ome more before going back to sleep.
((I'm a little confused right now, so if I did something stupid, I'll correct it eventually))

Surma kneeled infront of Brady. "Eragon wanted it this way. He didn't want Louhi to control him." Surma stood up. "Eragon doesn't want you to be sad Brady. he want's you to be happy." Surma showed a hand to Brady. It was to pull him up.

I use his hand as balance to pull myself up.
I guess... We should probably attack Louhi before she controls any more dragons.

Yohko jumps down behind Mistress. "Hey M, i'm happy to see Louhi hasn't controlled you yet. Has she tried again? I'm going to fight her, will you be able to hold out against her call?" She asks.
Yohko had been Mistress's friend for a long while now, they just never really talked...

Mistress Dragon says to Yohko with a nod before looking at Dreamer. "Why don't you go and record the battle with Louhi, Yohko can take you there with her. I'm sure it'll make a good story."
She says to Dreamer before picking the smallf airy fof her shoulder and placing her in Yohko's hands. "I'll see you two again, hopefully not in the control of Louhi."
*Dionysus, are you okay? Where are you? Are you in the control of Louhi? What's happened with the fight?*

My alarm goes off, and I get out of bed, I put on a gray suit today with a violet scarf. I leave my room, letting Set sleep. I then see Damascus is still at the door.
"Good morning, I am heading back to the office. You can help yourself to whatever I have in my pantry."
I then walk to the living room, put on my coat and go out the door, making for the International HQ.
