Morrighan nodded to Katya. Both women emerged from their own little world and gave their attentions back to the men. Katya wondered when her other brother would arrive. It had been ages since she had last seen him. The same amount of time since seeing Magnus again actually. Would he be as forgiving as Magnus had been? She could only hope that blood was thicker than water.

Kallen heard what Maeda said to Dmitri. Sure he had tried to get Maeda to hurt him but she still felt a sadness for him. Her pity made her wish to befriend him.
"Maeda we should at least hear him out. He is just lonely and wishes for a friend. He had only wanted to help me afterall...albeit in the end it was a bit disastrous but we shouldn't look at it as his fault. He did not know Kaschei would come and get me. Please Maeda...he needs a friend..."
She gave him puppy dog eyes hoping it would sway her boyfriend just a bit. Afterall thats what had brought them together...their apparent need for someone. That and fate perhaps. She smiled sweetly and grasped Maedas hand a bit tighter.

I like to talk politics with him.
