[Ikue Ito]

After I read the note, I smiled up at Larva. I stepped aside so that he would have more room.

"So you're here to work for Lady Violet, huh? I'm working for her as well. My name's Ikue. Oh by the way, you're probably going to be staying right...there." I pointed to the guesthouse which was across the street. "Feel free to sit down and wait for her."

[Deetric Proudmore]

"You've heard of the Vampires that came from Romania a few hundred years ago? Really nasty ones, all the creatures of the dark who came from there? Those are my cousins.

As for the children... you will be alright as long as they understand what they are and receive training to hold it in, like I have to."

[Riku]

i turn around and look at the guy in the oor. ... hmm.... i frown slightly. ... butler huh..., . i glance over at violet, this was her house. i glance at hikari, wondering why every seemed to be drawn to violets house now. i look back at him. ....larva is it?... violet is in the living room. i turn slightly, keeping him in my view as i look at hikari. ... you awake now?. i smile slightly at her

[Helene]

Helene looks downward with a guilty look on her face.
-The... the ones from Romania eh... hm...-
She stands up and walks out of the room.
-Its not your fault. d**ned bloodline thats all... the children will be fine. Promise!-

[Larva]

Larva looked at the man who spoke to him, then looked into the living room. He looked back at the man, then shoke his head and looked for something that needed to be cleaned or put into place. He fluffed the sofa cushins and walked to the kitchen. He made tea for three people, set the cups on a tray, they brought it out for the three in the other room. He offered the first cup to Ikue, smiling. He was getting better at it, it felt easier to do at least.

[Riku]

i raise my eyebrow at him. ... ok.... *... d**n, i cant read his mind with that mask on....*, i shrug it off, *oh well, my job is to protect hikari, .... and ikue... if he tries anything then he will die...*. i look at ikue then to him. ... dont talk much do you?

[Nigel Eckhart]

Nigel looks over to Ulgin. Confusion on his face.
"Why do you pronounce me as a 'toy'? I came here out of respect for Kayta and her family and to learn more of the Lux Veritas and The Cabal..."

Nigel slowly brushes his velvet coat behind his hip, revealing his ancient chakram weapon.

"I do not wish bloodshed in this home, nor do I wish to harm those that shouldn't deserve such strife..."

Nigel stood up, backing away from Ulgin and Kayta. His shakram release itself from Nigel's belt, sparking with ancient magic as it spun like a buzzsaw in the air, a slight whirring noise emitting from it.

"But to uphold the honor of Lady Kayta, so be it..."

The whirling chakram took its place in front of Nigel, jerking into different places and positions in front of him as it let out constant sparkles of magic, as if waiting on Ulgin. It was controled by Nigel's mind, moving with more speed then most humans...

[Ikue Ito]

I smiled back at Larva as I took the cup. I wonder why he's so quiet? But nevertheless, he seemed polite so far and would make a great butler.

"Thank you."

[Deetric Proudmore]

"I swear to you by all that is good that our children will be perfect."

[Larva]

He gives each person their respective cups and then turns to Riku. His expression is one of distaste, but because of the mask, nothing can be seen of his face. He lowers his hood, showing his short teal hair, and shakes his head. He went back to the kitchen and started a pot of coffee for Lady Violet, who assumed was either out or in bed. Coffee is good when one wakes. He walks back into the other room and bows to Ikue. He was a little confused by her words though. He was to stay away from the apartment? But, what if the Lady should need something in the night? He closed his eyes and sighed.

[Helene]

Helene sighs and walks back to him. Should she tell him?

-You cannot promise anything like that... you never know what will happen.-
She sits in his lap and wraps her arms around his neck.
-Anything else? Since we are being so honest, we should air all the bones in the closet.-

[Deetric Proudmore]

"I think that's it except... my cousin is the one who gave this is scar. He did it... when I was cast out of the House of Lee."

[Katya]

Katya stood between them.

"Enough of this. Nigel you do not have to do this to uphold my honor. It seems my brother is correct in his tale. Franco betrayed them...and me. It is my fault mother and father died. I accept that.

And Ulgin...how dare you speak of someone i love like that. True he is a human. But this human wishes to be turned. Yes unlike Franco he is not afraid of what we are...more he is facinated by us and in respect for me hasn't asked that i change him. Yet he searches to change. Brother you should not be so testy. You will find Nigel to be an honorable and very knowledgable man. Perhaps instead of baiting one another you can talk instead. Men are so...grrrr"

Katyas tears had stopped and she wiped the last away. To think of how they were acting. She felt a girl again with her big brother checking out her dates...

[Hikari]

I smiled at the man and bowed low. Plopping down on the couch next to Riku, i glanced at the three curiously.
"I'm just wondering but.. why does Lady Violet have all these hired people for our house and her office?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

[Dmitri]

Dmitri stood back not knowing what to think or do. He was frozen to the floor. He had not expected another uncle. He didn't know what to say either. He just stood there watching his mother. And casting glances at his uncle. Ulgin looked so much like him.
