Matsumura jumps at Kaitilish, who is frozen, and slices him right down the center. "And if that didn't work...." Matsumura blasts Kaitilish with a destructive burst of ki. Matsumura adjusts his energy shield so that it is working at maximum strength.

It has been awhile since I have spent time with Lady Violet, and decide that it's best if I don't.
I go for a walk to clear my head. I wonder what these feelings are, and where they came from. They feel very irrational, almost as though they are being manipulated by an outside force...
I examine the people wandering the streets of Beijing, to imagine if they have ever felt such an emotion.
