"Well..." I look at the sky as we walk.
"People often find happiness in other people...or have some special bond due to common interests, goals..."
I feel awkward talking about this right now.
"Oh...well...it is all very complex. I am not sure I can explain love to you. I suppose it develops out of attraction and a need to be fulfilled. We each are lacking in some way or another, so I suppose we find completeness through others...."
I am doing a horrible job. I should have no problem explaining something so simple.

"That doesn't make sense, how can another human make you feel more 'complete?'"

"Well...I..." I feel as though it is warm outside suddenly.
"I think that these are good questions to consider. Let's see. Other people can compliment our strengths and compensate for our weaknesses...so, perhaps...that is how we are more complete...I don't know.."
I fold my arms and look at the ground, feeling very stressed by the conversation.
"It is a feeling of completeness more than an actual completeness in any other sense. Yes...a feeling that...maybe you found some part of yourself that you have been missing....and there is comfort in that."

"By nature, most humans are social creatures. We do not like to be alone, and we derive much happiness from being around each other. When one is in love, their love compliments their personality, they go together and derive happiness from this closeness.

"I don't understand, but I won't press you any farther. I'm sorry. I'm simply trying to understand my sister." I say apologetically.

I listen to Zhuge who is much more calm about this than I am. I love that. He is never stressed, always very even.
I wish I was more like that. But then again, I am attracted him him so it is harder for me to speak clearly on this topic while he is with us.
"I agree with Zhuge. He stated things...very well as usual. I am sorry that you do not understand. Perhaps you will someday..."
We keep walking and I feel more at ease

Ivan laughs then thinks to himself, "Teleporter?..... More like lock picker/stealther extraordinaire."
Ivan pulls out another cigarette and looks at Bassarov. "You know Bassy, there's probably more than one prisoner in there...... ehhh, I guess this matter doesn't concern me..... but you know, promising a favor without any terms isn't exactly smart. Somehow, I know you know what you're getting yourself into. That doesn't matter to you. You know why you're doing it. Now you've gotta cope with it." Ivan inhales the smoke, then exhales.
"In my personal opinion, I'd wait and have one of your own operatives get her. There are quite a few teleporters on your team. Why don't you just send in one of them?"

"She is a clone of Kaieka, I think I have a good idea what she wants from me. But I could be mistaken. It is too dangerous to send rebels to the Ministry of Terror. So, what choice do I have? I have done worse..."
Bassarov sits down and looks at the carpeting. He stares for a while, upset with himself, but powerless to do anything.
"Zero will understand. She always does...she is so good and understanding...its funny she never gets jealous. I love her for it...she...I...I can count on her..."

Soren re enters the base.
"What was the point of that?" He asks himself.
He feels a little angry that Void didn't have answers.
"I wish I could just understand. I am here...for the sake of being here... There is nothing more? No...I should desire nothing more..."
Day after the day it is the same thing, the very same question of why he exists when nothing has meaning...and the search or desire for meaning is just an opiate that keeps people from reality.
"I am still locked in that same room, I am at the door, but can not break through. Do I bust the door down to see what is on the other side? Is that the only way?"

I look behind me and see a young elf
"Oh gee, I am sorry that I ignored you. What can I help you with?"

Yoko blinked at his question, "I... well... I have not considered that possibility." She said carefully. Her eyes followed Hayven's as he looked at the other two before coming back to him "I do not believe anyone is as bad as everyone thinks, anyway." Yoko reached out and ran her hand through the leaves of the Willow tree. "Why do you ask...?" She began to follow him as she spoke.

"I know you are shy. Maybe...you can work with me...or we both can work at the Ministry of the Environment...you could help me in my garden."I sit down by a tree, rather than enter the teleporter. I am feeling tired suddenly
