Intellectuals in Retreat

[Zhuge Liang]

I stand off to the side, watching Lady Violet. I know this kind of thing is precious, and I know it would be better if I not interrupt.

[Hikari]

Hikari smiles and plops down on the couch, gesturing the spot next to her for/to Zhuge Liang.

"How have you been Zhuge? Or should I call you Liang... Forgive me, I don't know these things." She says, grinning sheepishly.

Hikari watches her new mother as she makes s'mores.

[Zhuge Liang]

I smile at Hikari and sit down.

"My family name is Zhuge, and my personal name is Liang, so you may call me Liang, if you wish. Zhuge is also fine, as I do not believe any others share that name. And I have been fine, thank you for asking. What about yourself?"

[Lady Violet]

I take the smores out of the oven and make some hot cocoa. I have never had smores over a fire, since I have never gone camping

"Here we are Hikari..."

I wipe my forehead and take a seat.

[Hikari]

I smile at Liang and nodd, resting agaisnt a pillow on the couch.

"Zhuge is your family name? I had no idea, I actually thought it was your first. Silly me, okay then, Liang. It's good to hear that. I'm doing fine myself, content. What do you do during the day? If not at our house or with Lady Violet."

Sitting up and turning to Lady Violet, I take a s'more and eat it happily. Carefully, of course, since it was still quite hot.

[Zhuge Liang]

I smile.

"Usually I am studying. Like Lady Violet, I have many obligations at work that keep me busy."

[Hikari]

I nodd and continue eating, slowly and politely.. as always.

"Oh really? That's good. I normally stay home with somebody I'm friends with, or meet new people. Either one is fine. I don't see you that often anymore..."

I take a sip of my hot cocoa and smile at them.

"Do you not like or eat smores Lady Violet, Liang?"

((I'm going to sleep now, goodnight you two.))

["Pyervie" Sovietski]

Somewhat forgotten I speak up. "Sorry to interrupt, but do you have any meat? I'm starving."

[Lady Violet]

I put Hikari to bed and get Pyervie some sea cucumber, shrimp,and rice. I do not keep much meat in my home.

I sit down, on the opposite end of my sofa from Zhuge.

"It has been another exhausting day."

[Gen. Vlad Kolov]

It is time to stop fooling around and prepare for the actual invasion of Earth. For this I'll have to go over the composition of LIF forces and probable strategies to use against them. For this I'll need Hera and Liang... I begin my efforts to track them down.

["Pyervie" Sovietski]

I look at the frugal portion placed before me. "This will be sufficient for a few hours. Thank you." I state before starting on it. "I am willing to help you with your efforts if you so desire my Lady."

[Zhuge Liang]

"It is the price of leadership, I am afraid." I reply.

"Now, I believe you had something you wished to speak with me about, did you not?"

[Lady Violet]

"I am fine, though the Ministry of Terror posted that it wants someone to attack Cassinda the Dove and Peter the owl, perhaps you can aid me with this, Pyervie..."

I turn to Zhuge...

"Well...it is not so important...I am not sure...perhaps once Pyervie is gone."

["Pyervie" Sovietski]

"It's fine. I'll leave now." I quickly dismiss myself and walk out of the room. I find a REd Roof Inn to spend the night in.

[Zhuge Liang]

"Of course, my lady." I say, nodding my head.
