"They're moving to the Alpha Site Susan, you won't have to go outside. We move through portals and into a pocket dimention created by our Mage Guild. It's the most secure location possible, our last fall back point.
And it has a nicely sealed sublevel, guarded against magick and psyonics. From what I understand of your problems Susan, this will help. You'll be outside this dimention, only the minds of the staff of the Alpha Site will be around for you to hear."

"Right..." I feel too wiped out even to smoke, something I do almost without thinking. We walk into the cave where the rebels had taken shelter. "See, they were smart... They survived." I sigh with relief.

The destroyers stay just out of your range, but then land for no good reason. I unplug the cable from the back of my head and set down the briefcase. "I am Fernbedienanlage Zwei, and I will destroy you in the name of Red Infinity." My arm comes up quickly and the electron gun fires at Void.

Lucky gets orders from Red Infinity to fight Void, and quickly arrives on the scene.
She stands between the two fighters and uses her banshee scream.
Her wailing voice echoes through the city, breaking glass and cracking brick and cement.

I just barely get out of the way of the attacks, then fire my electron gun at Void. The pain in my body is incredible, between my dead muscle and the banshee's scream... But I put the pain aside. I have a duty to preform.

"Good bye Iltanesh.." Bassarov says as the mercenary departs.
He looks at Zero and sighs.
"I don't need to be comforted like that. It isn't right for people to care for me like that..so please don't."
He pushes her away from him and walks to the other side of the cave where he rests against the rocky wall.
He feels a pit inside. A hatred for himself and all he has done, and the internal soreness from his humilating encounter with Kassenia.

I get up and sit back down across from Bassarov. "If you don't want me to do that then I won't... I don't know what they did to you in there, but I want to help... All I want to do is to help."

I see the blast coming and dive to the side, though it clips me. The part of my arm that was hit seems to just vanish, and I grunt in pain before the rest of my arm returns to normal, though my energy seems a bit weaker than it was before I was hit. My face now contorted with rage, I summon my Void Shard in the shape of two pistols, which I begin firing at Zwei. The bullets are much weaker versions of my Orbs of Annihilation, but they are powerful nonetheless.

Lucky turns into a banshee and swoops down towards Void. She blows him a banshee kiss, which will completely immobilize him for 30 minutes should he fail to dodge it.
"I do not ask questions, I just follow orders. But maybe someone thinks your powers are interesting. I do."
She blows him another kiss as she hovers above

I roll to the side but am clipped in the leg by one of the orbs, which rips a small chunk of flesh away. I recharge my electron gun and fire at Void again.

He closes his eyes, and tries to rest. He feels haunted, and unready to be with the rebels once again. Those missing patches in his life and mind were never sewn together.
So he is faced with the ugly gaping holes within himself, in which thoughts and hopes escape.

I scowl and throw up a shield, which is almost immediately shattered by the combined might of the two attacks. Deciding that it is in my interest to eliminate my attackers one by one, I go for Lucky, who I percieve to be weaker. My Void Shard mutates into a long spear with a double-edged blade, which I arc at Lucky's throat, twirling it around with one arm. My other arm comes up and unleashes a Sphere of Annihilation at her. Though it isn't nearly as effective against sentient creatures as it is against unthinking drones, it should cause some considerable damage if it connets.
