He walks her to his door, then locks it behind her. Once he thinks she is gone, he punches the wall.

He goes to his room, and goes right to bed, not bothering to undress.

I don't walk instantly, and I hear Bassarov hit the wall. The sound pains me. I light my cigarette, the nicotine bringing me even less solace than normal. Therefore I know my forced limit of four packs a day has gone right out the window... I want to go back to my room and weep, but I did leave Misha down in the subway. I decide just to walk back, which will give me more time to calm down before I have to see Misha again.

Walking down the street of Helsinki, she carefully avoids the shadowed figures that were humans. Not one of their faces she could see. Ever see. Some times, she wishs, there was some one who knew what it was like. To see everything in darkness except darkness itself..
She had signed up to go to India before leaving the meeting. She then stops walking, looking around. She could sense darkness, shadows, real darkness. A being of darkness.
She looks around, eager to see the person. Where was it?

Soon enough, Zero finished constructing the houses and the underground tunnels and teleporation booths.
Leaving, he writes a small note on the major house to Lysander about the structure of the buildings, their features, and that he is gone.
Zero leaves, training until Lysander came up with someone else for him to do.

Good work with the base. We will need to address the homelessness issue in the city. There are many American refugees here, who were displaced by Louhi. Can you build some shelters for them, Zero?
