He gives her frail and pained body a hug.

After dropping off the Green Party, the void spirit decides to do some more exploring.
He returns to Helsinki to observe people and the goings on there.
Of all of the groups there, he finds the anarchists the most interesting.
He does not himself wish to overthrow Red Infinity, only act as the invisible force of apathy and the preservation of the status quo on Earth
This is not his nature, but a reaction to the other void compenents in the world

"Yes, thank you... Fraulien Zedung is very forgiving." I say as I hug him back. "Now you can help me to get around, as this is becoming more difficult for me." Then again I haven't tried very hard... I do note that my English is getting a lot better, though I still have a heavy accent... But that will likely never change.

This is true. When they first met, Despair thought she acted like a fussy old woman, but she is starting to act more accepting and even tempered.
This makes the time with her more enjoyable

Devin makes a motion like he is bowing.
"Pleasure to meet you Annda. I am called Devin, not like you really wanted to know."
He sits down on a small bit of concrete that is about the right hight to be used as a seat. He looks at the puddle he had fell in as he speaks. He thinks about her question.
"I suppose, in my own pathetic way, I too am being selfish. I live this way to appease myself. To make me feel... anything... That is to say, I could live without feeling, but out of selfishness I wish to feel, even if it be pain. So in that sence, I too am selfish."
He lowers his head. It was almost as if he were rediscovering one of the things he despised about himself all over again.
