Surma was in a deep trance. He was one with the universe. Energy was flowing around him. In his trance, he felt the power and knowledge of the universe welling up in him. Suddenly pictures filled up Surma's mind. He saw darkness, nothing but utter darkness. Surma couldn't open his eyes.
What's going on.. What's this..
Suddenly Surma woke up. He placed a hand on his forehead. He was sweating.
Darkness? What is that soppose to mean."

Surma used his powers to see what was happening in earth.
