He really didn't have to ready himself for battle, since most of his battles were easy kills.

Matsumura picks one of the black feathers off of his wings and puts it in Varsha's hair, over her left ear. He lifts her chin and looks into her eyes.
"You're beautiful. Truly beautiful. I search for words to find a comparison, but I come up short, because nothing compares. You are the most beautiful thing in the universe. Your heart.... your spirit.... your innocence..... your purity..... your warmth..... your kindness. You shine brighter than the stars, containing the intricate beauty of the ages. Thousands of lives past, all leading to the creation of you, and what a marvelous creation it is. You stand above us all, a spectator in this war of pagans. I want to stand there with you. Words can't begin to describe what you mean to me."
Tears begin to gather in Matsumura's eyes.
"No.... I won't cry. I don't have to cry when I'm with you. No words will describe my feelings, but maybe this will."
Matsumura closes his eyes, leans in slowly, and kisses Varsha. He slowly pulls away with his eyes closed and opens them once he's back to his normal posture. He gives off a hopeful smile.
"That was........ amazing. 3000 years of existence, and that was my first kiss. I wouldn't have it any other way."
Matsumura teleports away to find Anima.

Devin woke with a start as he fell to the floor on his face.
"Awwwh..."
He moaned as he put a hand to his face, rubbing his nose. He realized he had rolled off the bench in his sleep. Slowly he stood up and streached, then checked his pockets to see if everything was there. His notebooks were there, so he was satisfied. He needed to find another place to live today, so that was his goal. He started to walk through the city, searching for a place to stay.

Ramires thought as he phased out of the sawdows and onto the couch.

With Yakkul's speed, they easily traversed the most gruesome parts of this part of the world, finding fewer dead organisms as they continued on.
They soon came upon what seemed like reconstruction.
'Perhaps this is the Capitalist base, Yakkul' he said telepathically to his friend.
Yakkul did not respond so Anutsaka yelled into the base, "Hello? I am Anutsaka, Professor of Eternal Light, does anybody live here?"
((Anutsaka cannot talk to anyone else telepathically, just Yakkul because of their strong bond together.))

Tina sighed. "Well thank you Mr. Bassarov. I hope to see you again sometime." Tina smiles her friendly smiles and shows herself the door. Tina left and walked around. She saw a familiar cat form. She smiled. "Thomas!" Tina giggled and ran to them. "Thomas!"

Tina caught him in her arms she hugged him and twirled. "I'm great. How are your wounds? Are they healing?" Tina gently tapped his nose and giggled.
