Slouching Towards the Nemesis

[Soren]

((To Satsujin))

Soren walks up to Satsujin, seeing as he is causing chaos in his wake.

"I don't think that really accomplishes anything. What is the point of doing anything unless it reveals some lie to people?"

He has been having a crisis of faith or lack thereof lately and wants to understand Satsujin's motives

[Iltanesh]

Inside I cringe at the filthy man's touch, but my exterior remains calm.

"Yes, please remove your shoes and put these on." I say, indicating a pair of slippers. "I will take you to the bathing area."

[Ludda]

I put on the slippers
Take me to the bath and I should be fine. I like this place. Not much technology. Machines are evil

[Void]

With Tyhja gone, I slip away, returning to the void, at least for the moment.

[Iltanesh]

I lead him to the bathing facilities, a hot spring surrounded by rocks and a bamboo fence all around.

"Here we are. When you are finished, you may look for me and we can see about finding you a room."

[Ludda]

"Wow, this is really natural, I might start taking baths once a week!!"
Ludda gets undressed and enters the hot bath. He finds the bath very relaxing as it washes away layers of grime.

[Omadon]

"Red Infinity would crush me like a bug. I think I could kill any one of their Godless or their others warriors in a straight fight, or I could summon fourth a massive army of the undead and overwhelm them, but they own this world. I will not be able to take it from them.

My interest is purly in the unstanding of this world, of magic, and in gaining power. I have no interest in using that power, simply in controlling it. And in ruling my little kingdom of Northrend. I work with the government, not against it, but not for it either, not if I can avoid that. Rebellion would end with Northrend in shards and I don't want that. Besides, we have eternity. Why rush?"

[Riah]

Riah continued to wander down the streets, still keeping that emotionless expression on her face.
Her eye pupils adjusted so she could see what was in front of her without any trouble.

"Really? Do you perhaps mean Simona Weil? There are no coincidences... This is a sign..."

I can do it... I can...

"Is this not amazing? Hmmm..."

[Ezra Weil]

"You know her? Are you an anarchist? I never cared for her anarchist friends quite frankly. They were a bunch of misfits and losers."

[Hera]

"Why don't we just sit here and talk. I would like to know how you have been. Is anything new in your life? Are you happy?"

I sit back down at my desk to listen to what Yuber has to say

"No, no I am not... I have no political affiliation, politics is unnessarary, for it means very little in the grand scheme of things. If i were to be branded, I would be a democratic socialist, for a parlimentary government. I work amoungst all the rebel groups, I am totaly against Red Infinity. However, I believe that Anarchists have a good idea, less dogma in society.. Thats how I think religion should be, less dogma, more devotion. It should be about your interaction with god, not with a church. YOu shouldnt have to follow their rules, believe in god your own way... be you chrisitan, juish, hindu, budists, whatever..."

I look the man down

"YOu do look like Simona, but its hard to tell in the dark.. Poor Simona..."

"YOu see, until reciently, she was a devout chrisitan. Her faith drove her, fueled her, she was drvien by it and her pursuit for justice. But, she was captured by the league, and somehow her beliefs vanished. She lost her faith...


Anyway, they are hopefully going to put me up for public exicution... That hopefully will knock her back to reality. If it doesnt, well, its not the end. I probably should not tell you, but I died once... And came back. "

[Yuber]

He smiles.
"Yes, I'm quite happy with the current experiments, actually. I just now learned that one experiment has now become a success. I have a son now, he's been alive for about two days, longer than any of the other experiments. What do you think a good name is? I was thinking... Evan? Maybe Josh? Its hard isn't it." He sits down and checks the nanites' progress.
Almost to the central nervous system and on their way to the brain, very nice. He kept the smile on his face.
"And you, Hera? How has life been for you?" He bend forward, appearing eager to hear all about it, but actually thinking of the possiblities of this.
A son, eh? Well, it appeared that his funding would be enjoying a nice boost, and possibly... Coupled with this mission's success, he should recive some sort of reward.

[Ezra Weil]

"I am well aware that Simona was a Christian. And you say that she is no longer? Interesting." He says this with a slight amount of satisfaction, though it would be hard for a stranger to discern.
He moves away from Rodthingy and climbs onto one of the gray matted beds in the room.
"I do not see the correlation between Christianity and anarchy, but she is a paradoxical woman."
He rests his hands on his knees.
"It is unpleasant to learn that she was tortured though. I will pay her a visit if ever I leave this place. As for you, you seem to care a lot for her if you are willing to stake your life in her recovery. Have you known her long? She has never mentioned you in her correspondance. Only those no good anarchists, Sasha and Antero."

"Not too long, perhaps half a year..? We have been going together only for a short time, when she finaly decided that she could be with me... you see, she has a major problem with comitment...

But, we have been very close for a while now... Even back when I first met her..."
