Satsujin's neck streatches, bringing his head within 6" of Soren's face.
"Destruction is a drug eh? I don't doubt it. I never said I was the smartest god either. After you have been locked away in the abyss for countless eons after trying to do exactly what you just told me, I think you would agree that I would be allowed a little fun for the sake of having fun."
Satsujin's expression had changed halfway through to a very serious one. His neck slowly retracted back to its normal position on his shoulders.
"I went so far as to kill my own family to get what I thought was needed."

Melethni's lips curved as she walked with him facing her. For some reason, it gave her a feeling of thrill. Interesting feeling, that. "How far is it? Is it dark down there...?" She wondered and asked aloud.

i smile and stop as we steo into the elevator, my hands leaving hers and traveling up her arms to her elbows beofre going back to her back, i smile and kiss her on her lips. "it should be dark..."

Satsujin's right hand shot out and grasped Soren by the neck, lifting him off the ground easily.
"Can you do this? Well?"
He was asking even though he knew Soren could not speak with the grip he had on his neck. He knew he could not breathe either.
"If you can do this to me, then I will acknowledge you as equal. I will acknowledge you as a god, or whatever you prefer to be called."
Satsujin without warning pushed down with his arm, slamming Soren's back into the concrete on the street hard, but not hard enough to kill him.
"You see now, that was fun."

Melethni shivers slightly. Excitement, thrill, and being a little afraid of the dark added to all of that. Melethni leaned toward him and whispered, "How dark? Could there be something hiding down there..?" Melethni turned her head to kiss his neck.

Soren gets up slowly and coughs for a few minutes as he recomposes himself
"Force and strength do not make you a god." He spits at Satsujin's feet
"The only power that gives you is the power to destoy, and frankly ever the weakest human has that power."Soren laughs.
He turns and starts walking away.
"I bet a lot of people fear you. I bet a lot of people worship you. But I will be sent to a cold oblivion before I do either."
He turns down an alleyway and disappears into the shadows of night. His cynical laugh can be heard long after he vannishes

i smile and kiss the lobe of her ear. "... maybe... i havent been here in awhile.. and i dont have many friends...." *or enemies*, "so someone might have put something down there....". i smile again. "its very dark..., the only light is in the room next to it...., and it is cold...."

Maybe someday I will do just that... Oblivion awaits you...

i sigh and take a seat before lookign at her. "... im sorry if it seems like i have somehting against him, all that i do have against him is the fact that it seems like he took you from your duties as the swan of tounela... and it started to seem like... as my friend as well.". i close my eyes as i look down. "... i guess.... i just do not understand how you can love him.... even when he was mortal, knowing that he would someday die and leave you to your misery...., but i guess now that he is.... immortal you dont have to worry about that...."
i look back at her. "maybe i am more human then i thought, or wish to be.... i belive mortals call it jealousy... i care about you more then a friend, and then you go and love a human.... i suppose i am just jealous of him.... but oh well, being your friend is better then nothing... and i am glad that you are happy".

I try to think of other things I know about Satsujin.
"Gee, I only know he was an ancient god who was sealed away in darkness, and that he killed the other high gods. He was unruly and evil."
I look at Grove then back to Roane.
"If he is back, that is worse than Louhi...well, at least about the same. He is sneakier than she is, and he is harder to defeat."
