Seven reports to Ai An Fei.
"You people should get some better security," Seven says icily.
"My lady," it adds a sign of begrudged respect.
"So, what is the emergency?"

"That is very fortunate that your cello survived." Elijah replies dispassionately. With all the loss of life and propery, it is hard to feel any joy at all.
"I am really failing, aren't I? From mistreating that demon, to my aloofness...I can not act like a human. You are so completely human, yet you are immortal like me. I wonder how you do it."

"We need a lot of things." I reply to Seven.
"Better security, and better operatives..." I clench my first and turn towards the androgynous being.
"The emergency is that we have two important prisoners, Lysander and Dr. Simion, and the fact that an angel somehow got through our guards and is trying to abduct Lysander."
I know that this being is not much help in fights. I am not that much better.

The herbs don't work, and I notice something in his hand. It seems to be drawing upon his energy. If I touch it, I would be affected by it. I turn away from the suffering prisoner feeling disgust for the cruelty behind this.
I look at Anima again. "You should go in peace. There will be others here to fight as well, and I will not allow you to take this law breaker."

"Uh, I was raised by humans, and up until age 12 or so, I thought I was human. I don't think humans and non-humans are so different in emotional reactions. At least Um, well, I hope not. When I first started figuring the whole nymph thing out, I wondered if what I felt was real. When I smile, is it the same as a human's smile? Does human happiness feel like my happiness? I just, act the way I do because it is the way I am. I don't think genetics play into psychology so much. I mean sure there are some genetically inherited things, like.. um schitzophrenia, or depression... but that's off topic... One of the reasons I am studying psychology is my search for the answer to how human I really am. Besides... um.... you're half human, aren't you? I mean, haven't you ever listened to beautiful music, and gotten lost in it? Or enjoyed the way the sun feels on your skin? I think those things are the human experience. You grew up on a farm, right? What did you raise there? Wheat? Corn? Cattle? Have you ever accomplished something simple, like brush out sheared fleece so it can be processed into wool, or built a dog house? Those kinds of things define the human experience too. If I didn't think about the silver lining, so to speak, I think I would really go insane. There are a lot of really... well really bad things in the world, and I've seen things that have been, and things that will be. Appreciation of the little things, and simple pleasures is really important I guess," Andrew says.
He blushes.
"Or, um, you know, I'm just spouting nonsense, which I often do. I just babble on and on...."

"I feel detatched. I suppose it is just me then. I feel to a point and then it turns off. I have compassion and a desire to help others or to make the world a better place, but I feel deficient. I feel like there is something I have done wrong or just don't see." Elijah explains.
"It was dairy by the way. And it was a good experience. A set of chores or a routine. That is what this life appears to be. It seems to be a duty or a process. It is like seeing the notes on a page, understanding it, playing it, but hearing nothing and wondering why."

"I am not your operative. I am Lord Kolov's operative," Seven mutters under its breath.
"Well, I'll do my best. However, in the probable event I don't survive this, you will be held resposible. Pain Eater clone bodies are expensive."

-"What's a Sauna?"- Kikyo asks, making sure she doesn't fall off his shoulder while he's cutting down trees. -"You shouldn't just cut down trees. A whole forest had already been destoryed."-

Andrew sits on a chunk of warped metal from a fallen building. He leans his cane against it.
"Well, um, did you have any traumatic experiences as a child? Well, you know, if its not too personal a question or anything..."

Timithy levels off, flying along the tops of the trees. "There, you see. Easy as walking and alot more fun." He does a roll over and pulls up, slowing to a stop to look around. "There we are, almost there."

"Don't bother fighting. It isn't your specialty and there are others who are already on the task. Just carry out your normal duties."
I walk away from Seven and walk over to Kankah and the angel.
I will see that these important prisoners do not escape.

"Well...I've lived through a lot more than you. I am hundreds of years old and have had to fight much more than I would like to have." Elijah replies. He realizes that he does not know how old Andrew is. Andrew is immortal, but seems younger.

I turn to face Unit-4. "You have done me great service, despite a number of personal failures on my part. Is there anything I can do for you as repayment?"
I also contact Alice Crowley, asking what her progress is.
