Our Woe and Our Prize

[Valodya Bassarov]

"Right." Bassarov doesn't know where the installations might be so he leads everyone to a group of locals who are standing in line to buy items from a grocery store.

He calmly walks up to them.

"Ich suche Die "Nazi Base." he says to them. They look at him in confusion. He then realizes that a. he doesn't speak German and b. he has a Russian accent which makes what he does know hard to understand.

"Sprechen Sie Russische?"

He turns to the rebels that are with them.

"I don't actually know much German. Do any of you speak it?"

[Winter]

I smile.
-"Alright."-
I say before telaporting us to Helsinki.
I try not to image how the city used to look and how it does now, since it'll upset me again.
-"Wheres the rebel base? I've never been there since it was rebuilt."-

[Persephone]

"We have a mecha that we stole from the Green Party. We could fight the machines with another more complex machine." I say shyly to Nabiki.

"You look really worried, can I make you some tea?"

[Garnet]

Garnet had been practicing with the Gear Lady Violet had assigned to her for a while and been off doing her own thing in the woods.

She finally walks into the Ministry of Environment and bows.

"Ms. Nabiki, Ms. Persphone, excuse my absence ."

[Persephone]

"Hi there Garnet, good to see you!" I say cheerfully.

"Are you getting used to piloting that machine?"

[Samuel]

"I heard something about an underground one, so maybe they did that. Let's look for a subway or something." He shruggedand started walking, holding her hand.
Seeing destruction all around them, he held his cross in one hand and started muttering prayer.
" 'Though I walk through the shadow of the Valley of Death, I shal not fear...' " He says quietly.
It was horrible, and he didn't want to look, but he forced himself to see and to keep walking, muttering quietly.

[Garnet]

"Yes, it's quite easy to use after you get used to it. Through, with the recent Zwei thing it's been acting up so I decided it best to keep it safe in a hanger."

Garnet explains.

[Winter]

I walk with Samuel while holding his hand.
I wonder how we'll find the base.
All I have to do is keep my mind off all of the bad things.. I don't want to get upset again.
Maybe when I'm alone again I can let my feelings out, or alone with Samuel.

[Kaitalish]

Greetings, Rasputin. I believe I have heard of you.

I say, as I land, shifting into human form.

"What brings you here?"

[Rasputin]

"You may call be Grigory." Rasputin says as he approaches the dark pheonix, who is now a man.
"I would like to join the Blood Speakers, since I am looking to advance my power in this world and within Red Infinity."

[Kaitalish]

"Nothing simpler, we welcome a man with a desire to grow stronger," I reply. "It is an honor to have you join us." I extend my hand.

[Persephone]

"Oh no, I guess there goes that idea right out the window."

I look at Nabiki and hope that she has some ideas.

"We have to do something. If we can't fight Zwei maybe we can help with the environmental damage she has done."

[Catherine]

"Hmm...I think we should either go to Lady Violet...or spy on Anna some more..." I replied.

[Rasputin]

"Excelent. I would like more power and to rid this world of the false religions. There is only one religion and one way of worshiping." Rasputin replies. Since coming back from the dead he has become more dogmatic about his Orthodox faith.

[Samuel]

"Once we get to the base, y'know, we're gonna have to get rooms." He said, coloring a bit. "Should we just share one then?"
He wanted to do that, but maybe she didn't want to be tempted or something. But, they were a couple, and living together shouldn't be that bad... should it?
"Oh, that looks like it's it." He said, looking ahead to see the metro that was the base.
