"Wow, Axum, I like haven't seen you around for like a super long time. Where you been man?" Garret is surprised to see Axum, a fellow revolutionary, appear from basicly nowhere.

((Flashback to before the revolution))
I take a long drag on my cigarette, as I watch the civilians walk and talk amongst themselves.
"nuts..."
I say, leaning against the wall of a coffee shop. I curl my leg up against the wall. I start to think that maybe the military isn't for me...
I lower my leg, and with my other free one, I walk into the coffee shop, and feel as though I've stepped into the twilight zone.
"Ahem..."
I turn my head.
"Do you mind? I'm trying to read here."
Oh, my cigarette, right... I flick the butt out the door, and continue my journey to a table where I can order some coffee. The woman who scolded me for smoking is now sitting as though I have completely ruined her day.
Wow, that was really rude. I start to think to myself. Going up to a smoker, coughing... Do you go up to crippled people and start dancing? 'What's the matter, mister wheelchair? C'mon ironsides, race you!'
I hate people... At least I'm in my civilian clothes. I kind of wish I had brought my military fatigues for the simple reason of alienating myself even further.
So I got a little drunk on the barracks, and now I'm exiled to the epicenter of nothing... Christ, of all the times for there to be inspection...

((Welcome back to the rpg, Axum. Good to have a few more marxists around here. )) "We aren't sure how to stop this nazi machine matrix, it just keeps getting bigger and there is no way to enter. Wyrm, the anarchist hacker touched it and was shocked..." Garret looks at the large machine and feels hopeless.
"But I'm glad your back. Once this machine is defeated, Bassarov wanted to start up a Trotskyist party again."

((Welcome back Axum!))
Ah well, at least I get away from Tanya... I hate coffee, why the hell am I even here? Oh yeah, to see the dregs of society... I look around and see all of the posh bohemian intellectuals, and it just makes me want to stab somebody in the eye with a ball point pen.
f**k, they're all so conceited...
I order a chamomile tea to try and mend my frayed nerves. I sip my tea, observing the occupied seats. I make eye contact with one of the men at the bar. He has an aura about him, he's different somehow. I look away, feeling somewhat intimidated, but for the moment we made eye contact, he seemed so... Confident.
I take another sip of my tea, deliberately avoiding eye contact.

This is all a flashback
Bassarov notices that someone is looking at him through the corner of his eye. He is talking to a group of people about socialism, though no one seems to really care what he is saying. They all nod and smile, pretending to care. He flashes a smile at the stranger and returns to his conversation.
He was invited to Argentina to speak. Different Trotskyist groups do this...that is, invite him over to help them out. To inject some energy into their group to help them get started.

"There's uh, the Rhine River...I think that might work."
The machine is now twice the size of Munich, and has traveled about two miles.
"Man, this really sucks."

I look back to the stranger, and I notice that he is discussing something with a bunch of people, like a study group or something. I stand up, tea in hand, and approach them.
"I overheard a little of what you were talking about, and it seems very interesting. You mind if I take a seat..?"
I really have no idea what they were talking about.

Bassarov welcomes the stranger to the table, which is mostly young women and people who just want somewhere to fit in. He notices that the man speaks with a Russian accent.
"I am Valodya Bassarov, and I have come here to speak to this group on starting a revolutionary party." He replies.
"It is mostly a planning meeting." he adds.

"I see."
I sit down, feeling as though I've just trapped myself. I look around, and everybody seems to be completely enamoured with this individual. I lean back in my chair, and try to look skeptical, but interested.

Bassarov talks for about an hour longer, and it is decided that the revolutionary will hold an intro to socialism forum in one week at the local university to drum up support and interest in the cause.
The small group of people leave and Bassarov looks over some of his notes, feeling satisfied that he has helped to establish another small group.
Only the stranger remains.
"So, what is your name? Where in Russia do you come from....and why on Earth are you here?"

I smile.
"I'm from a small town in Siberia, I doubt you've heard of it."
I stand up.
"I am in the military, I did something stupid, and ended up being, more or less, exiled here. I've been here for a few weeks now, and I have no idea what the hell I'm supposed to be doing. Ah well, at least it gets me away from my girlfriend."
I start to think to myself that it might not be in my best interest to be caught hanging around a noted revolutionary.

"Oh the military. Well, that is something I could never do. I am afraid that sort of thing would suck away my intelligence and creativity. No offense to you....of course..."
He takes a sip of his water and looks at his watch. He was planning to meet another revolutionary, Miguel Guevara, but supposes that can wait.
"You don't seem very enthused about being here or in the military. You must have an aweful girlfriend if that is the only bright side to your exile."
