He leads the group of rebels with a strong and assured voice, but something behind the eyes speaks of uncertainty. His eyes are deep, showing age beyond his frame, and again he lapses into some semblance of a trance, his mind separated from the chaos at hand, looking instead at the chaos inside. The people follow him without question, but his eyes give away the questioning within.
Eliza's pen moves quickly to record her thoughts and observations as she follows Valodya Bassarov around and watches him give orders.
"When you have a moment, and I know this may have to come in spurts, I would like to know about your past. What has made you the man you are today?"
And with the sound of the words, his eyes snap back to reality, and whatever veil or fog that had encompassed him was gone for at least a moment or two.#nosmileys

"If you don't intend to use it than who does? Valodya Bassarov perhaps, or that sex toy that he stole from my predecessor?" I scowl. I will probaly give it to her, to piss off the League if nothing else, but I want to make her feel uncomfortable first.

I scowl at F-3442 being referred to as a sex toy. Even though she is a trator she is still a copy of me, and I find the insult to be insulting too.

Bassarov turns to the young woman and thinks for a moment.
"It is hard to say. I suppose there are many things. A lot of it was just luck...I was never a great revolutionaty during the bulk of the revolution. Its just that....certain people died or were too old by that time to take on leadership roles." Bassarov replies. He knows that this is not what she is looking for.
"I am who I am on account of my experiences with life and people. I was always an outsider, and it was in politics I found my niche. I could be myself and people respected that. Even when they didn't, I had ideas and vision to keep me going. I owe a lot to being an outsider, or seen as an eccentric at times. It make me question governments and the status quo. It made me think more than some people." He looks back at the machine.
"And those I love as well. I think I have agonized so many times and so many different losses, but it makes you appreciate people and love deeper."

"I..eh..." Linnea didn't know what to do but then regained herself. "Yes Bassarov sent me."

Eliza continued to write, looking up from time to time to survey those around her.
"You are a very eloquent speaker, Valodya Bassarov, perhaps that is one attribute to how you made it so far." She smiled as she looked up into his face once more, "Not that that is the only contributing factor, it was just an observation."
One that would not let the rules of others confine him, a rebel with a cause, and that cause "humanity", Valodya Bassarov is now out to change the rules altogether. His jaw was strong and his hands clenched lightly at his sides as he gave his answer: experiences with life, with people, with love, that is what made the man who started a system, who now seeks the system's end, who the system couldn't dictate or break.

"If you don't mind, why don't we turn the tables and ask about you. You seem very familiar to me, and I must admit that I am quite flattered by this interview." He smiles, distracted fror a moment from the machine. "Tell me about yourself...Eliza..."

((To Winter)) Samuel got up and stretched, he'd fallen asleep on the bench inside of the rebels new metro base ((It's not totaled as well is it?)). He finished stretching and picked up his guitar. He turned and looked down at Winter ((That is, if you didn't already leave or something else I might've missed through the thirdy some odd pages I read)) and kissed her softly on the forehead. "I'm gonna go get a room for us, okay? Or do you want to get a seperate one?" He asked.

Eliza smiles back, her pen, for once, resting quietly.
"There isn't much to tell, I'm afraid, I am a bit of a nobody, nobody of importance, that is."

((No she hasnt left you-says Winter))
Lila touches a red mushroom at the bottom of the stairs. The foyer lights up in an bright, white glow. Yes, Anerto. Ill take care of you. Hasnt anyone ever taken care of you before? She motions for him to follow her as she walks out of the foyer and down a hallway.

Katya had led him down into the palace. She had been looking for something for Nigel to eat.
"I am not sure if Magnus has anything suitable for humans to eat. But we shall try."
She hears a commotion.
"I wonder what all that is about."

He looks at her questioningly. "A nobody?"
"Maybe once you are done with this project....you won't be."
He then stands up and puts his hands behind his back trying to pick up where they left off.
"Thank you for saying that I speak well, though. I try to, but when I get nervous or stressed I often get too wordy or words just don't flow as smoothly. It is something that I always prided myself on though....putting power behind words....it gives power to my idea...."

"Tell me about Red Infinity, Valodya Bassarov."
Eliza's pen was once again in motion, her eyes focused on the rebel leader.
