Despair opens his eyes when he hears Erika's voice. For the first time since he joined the machine unit, he feels like he is an individual.
"I am not one with the machine. I am Despair. I am my own person. I am not a part of this so called Machine God. I am...an individual......"
As soon as he realizes that he is not a part of the whole, that he is not a part of this grand collective of machines, he is shut down.....
The machine for a short moment halts to twart the individualization of Chaos and Despair.

The machine mass comes to a halt. Chaos and Despair are deactivated, since they for a brief moment, realize that they are individuals. They loose their sense of selflessness and their sense of greater good for the machine god.
They think only of their individual desires, the desire for Erika and chocolicious Yoohoo.
But the machine unit is based on the cooperation and selflessness of all machines, and when two of the androids become self aware once again, it thrusts the whole system into chaos.
The machine mass stops moving and growing. It must deal with the rebelion within itself.

i glare at him and hit into a wall as i try to run through. "...d**n it...". i glance around, *i wish i learned teleportation.... *, i run towards him, this place couldnt be completely sealed off, i slide and go under his floating figure and then get up as i start running back down the hall i came to get here.

"Woo hoo, the Yoo hoo worked!!"
He then sees Virus passed out.
"Virus man, what happened?!"

As soon as the machine stops, information floods her computer.
"Vhan, we have Chaos in the right back facing you. 30 feet from the ground. And Despair is 10 feet above ground directly underneath of Chaos. Take 'em Vhan make us proud."
Kaze talks in to the transmitter.

I proceed to the coordinates and open fire with bursts of lasers.

The machine is punctured by the gear's blast. A shallow tunnel is created before the machine starts moving again and puts its energy shield up.
"Great, step one was a success. Now, we will have to tunnel to the center of the machine, and that could take days, but at least we have a start."
Bassarov enters the tunnel that Vhaan just created. It is large enough to fit several rebels inside.
"We need to get to work. I think we can slowly make a tunnel towards the center now, but as I said it will take a while."
Bassarov steps out of the tunnel and feels happy that they are making some progress.
"Good work everyone."
