He teleports away, since he is embarassed by his pain. He returns to the League and decides to get back to work.

Linnea didn't even seem to get through to him, sitting hard on the floor of the woods, she thought about what he meant.
"Maybe Keito you must endure your own destruction and pain. You are just like the rest of us, and you have feelings too." Linnea said softly, she felt so useless that she couldn't reach through to him maybe she would try later to talk to him. If he permitted it.

Garret watches Keitoleinen leave, and walks over to Linnea.
"What was that all about?"
He notices that the machine is at a stop, but the shield and its powers still function for some reason.
"Cool Zero, you immobilized it. How much more tunneling is left?" He asks.
The machine is so large that the tunnel will have to be at least a half mile long.

"Well the reactor head is about 400 feet down into the structure. We can start tunneling right next to that as long as we don't rupture any steam pipes." I state as I light a cigarette. I have gone for hours without one and I am really feeling the craving right now. Then I sit down and get out some dried food. "I know this is a threat to all Mankind, but I need a break."

"Yeah you look like you need a break. But hey, I have some good news. This young doctor named Leon is making a matterware virus to fight Unit 4 once we are done tunneling. I don't know much about that kinda stuff, but it might just work." Garret says.
He puts his arms around Linnea.
"I'm glad that you are safe and he didn't bother taking you."

"Well, he is in a secret underground ministry lady violet doesn't know about. You cna't meet him, he is asleep. I had to supress him because he has to fight Lady violet since she donated the blood. Combine with the snakes venom he is evil. SO I have to wait till Lady violet is ready." I said taking a gasp of breath. I rose my hand to pull back some hair in my face.

"It might work..." I say as I chew on something that might once have been beef. It is obvious that the machine still has significant power reserves left. "I'll bet that thing has a second reactor... If it does it's only a matter of time before the boron is flushed out of the one I poisoned."

Cynthia lowers her head, and smiles to herself. "Thank you... I'm glad I can consider you my friend, Steve..." She takes the money and slips it into her pocket, not counting it, or even looking at it, as if it were taboo to do so.

Iivari leaves Kallen in the cabin, and goes to the forest to pray. He prays to the God Tapio and to the Goddess Mielikki, since these are his chief gods as an environmentalist.
He prays over a stump.
"Dear Mother and Father of the Forest,
Please hear my prayers, I know that the Gods have not left us, but there is so much suffering in the world. Something must be done. Nature is being destroyed by these evil forces......."
