Despair feels as though the machine mass is somehow making him more powerful. Under normal conditions, he could not win a fight against Riku or Zero, but now he seems more powerful and less effected by their attacks.
He bounces back away from the two of them and fires a bi polar disorder wave at the two of them as well as a hallucination beam.
By now they should both be feeling the effects of severe mental illness.

I laugh and look at Despair. ... i can see through your hullicinations..... i look down slightly, frowning but then jump from the ground and fly towards him, a fire orb appearing between my hands. i thrust my hands forward and the orb launches towards him

Since for some unsual reason Riku is not being affected at all by the mental attacks, Despair concludes that he must have a mind shield.
"Mind Shield Breaker." He shouts at Riku, to take down any sort of mental barrier that may be protecting his mental health.
He then fires all four of his mental illness attacks at Riku: the depression wave, bi polar disorder, suicidal thoughts, and hallucinations.

Somehow I think he is behind the wall, so I tear one of the inch-thick plates off, but find nothing but a bundle of snakes. What the hell is going on here?

He thinks for a moment of what he wants to do.

((eh sorry, for some reason, the bi polar thing is escaping me at the moment... what is that?))
I grab my hand and fall to the ground, digging into the metal, i sit up and try to concentrate but images of my killing myself flash through my mind, suzumi hating me then killing herself, hikari dead at my hands. I shake my head. ... no... . i close my eyes tight and stand up, but even without seeing, the images continualed to flash through my mind. i open one of my eyes and glare at him,
bastard.... i knew he did something, suzumi was safe behind a barrier in kyoto. and hikari had violet to protect her. i feel sad and stare at despiar. *why... do i even care about these people....*. my mother's image appears and i frown at her, i shake my head, trying to focus on her voice
I form an energy chain and throw the one end towards him, his hullicination technique the only one that didnt work
