I am so confused that I decide to back myself into a corner and have a smoke, but when I go to light it the cigarette screams, and I throw it away. I close my eyes and pull my legs up against my chest and put my head between my knees, and try not to think.

We take a teleportation booth to Capital City. The city is just as dilapitated as I remember it being.

I think for a second. "Honestly, not really. Unless you want to go up to the flying bridge and enjoy the scenery." I turn to the helmsman. "Set course 040, all ahead full. Take us by Capital City." Within minutes the ship's enormous grey smoke plume is visable from the city, even before the ship itself.

I spread my wings, and fly above the ship, following it to its destination. I much prefer to fly than to ride upon such a decrepit old boat.

Kaschei goes to his "Skull Room" so called since it is where he keeps a giant floating skull. He locks the door behind him and takes a seat before the skull.
"What is the matter with me? I am acting so irrational."
He confides in the skull.
The skull replies in a high pitched, shrieking voice.
"Don't ask me...bwa ha ha ha!!"
He sighs.
"You aren't much help."
