"We don't have a "leader" since that would undermine our ideals. But I am the main contact person and organizer. I am a Christian anarchist pacifist. I am the contact person mainly because I am the easiest to get along with." I reply with a light smile. But since he doesn't seem overly friendly, I drop the smile.
"I am sorry that we are so disorganized at the moment. I don't even want to take you inside since it is a disaster in there. Red Infinity attacks us more often than other rebel groups."
"We could go to a local coffee shop. I am interested in learning more about you and your politics."

I have eight of the 12 boilers brought up to full steam, and then set sail for Helsinki. I order the ship to set an easy speed, going fast is hard on machinery and wastes coal which, even though we have more than we could use in a dozen lifetimes, still needs to be mined painstakingly from the earth. I am worried about the Green Party trying to lobby my ship to the bottom of the ocean, but I'll cross that barrier when I reach it.

"Don't tell anyone about my secret...about the...eating chicken. I am embarassed. I don't even like chicken that much. I am becoming weak willed." Bassarov says quietly.
"I think Mischa may have a drinking problem. I don't want to say anything since I know it is because of me. But I worry about him."

I look at her sympathetically.
"There is always, always a leader, but if you do not consider yourself such, chances are you are not the one. I apologise for bringing it up then. But I would gladly acompany you else where to speak."

"I won't." I say, meaning it. "And that's fair, I know you love him too... I'm glad I'm with you, but there are times when I think it would be better if I wasn't... Oh well, Karma." I say.
(I have to go after I reply to your next post)

"No, as I stated before, I am not the leader." I walk across the street to the newly rebuilt coffee shop. I order a hot camomile tea and sit down. Some consider me the leader of the anarchists, but I dislike being thought of as a leader. We are all self governing individuals.
I sip my tea and wait for James to join me. I can tell that we don't have much in common, but it is always interesting and challenging to learn about those different from yourself.
"I have been involved with the anarchist movement for about six or seven years now. We used to live in Capital City, but recently moved to Amsterdam since we deemed it safer. We come from a variety of backgrounds, though most of us are leftist anarchists."
I take another sip.
"I myself was born in Capital City and spend most of my life there. I have one brother, Ezra. He is a member of Hagana. Maybe you have heard of them." I stir some sugar into my tea. "And you? What can you tell me about yourself James?"

(bye)
"I know I haven't been treating you as fairly and affectionately as I should. I have been so busy. I am sorry. You do so much for me and I never repay you." Bassarov says. He holds her hand, touching her fingers lightly.
"You do more than you should."

I sit down across from her and drink some plain coffee.
"I was born...more or less is Finland, my parents are both Communists but I myself am a Machivillian Anarchist, as is apropriate. I decided to join you all to their horror after I finished school last year, it just took me quite a while to prepare myself."
I push the coffee to the side of the table away from me, it takes poor.
"You seem like fine, yet poorly mannered and scruffy people, but it's much too soon to judge you acurately."

My hand starts to tremble. I spill hot tea on my hand.
"I have struggled to survive for the past seven years. I have been captured and tortured by the government countless times for being an anarchist...and for being a christian. I have been raped by government officials and left for dead. Good manners are a luxury. I just survive. And even that, is nearly impossible..." I set my tea cup down and kiss the burn on my hand.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean for that outburst. It has just been a hard couple of months."

I am short an apropriate reaction for this and just nodd solemly, I hand her a napkin from my side of the table and run my next words over in my head to be sure I make no mistake.
"I am afraid I am one without much sympathy to give, but you don't want sympathy anyway, it's the worste type of insult.
I cannot help but wonder if it is these things that have humbled you so, people are not born so...fragile. I only use that for lack of a better word.
But for what it's worth, I am sorry, though I would advise you to not be so open with your....inconviniences in life to others that are not so forgetful as I am."
I look up at her from the darkness of the inside of my cup of coffee and bow my head in respectful understanding.
(ooc: I have to go. Good Night.)

"I speak openly of the injustices that the government has done against me. I live with the hope that my suffering can serve some greater good to this world. That is how I survive. And no, I don't want your sympathy."
I stand up and make for the door. "I can take you back to the anarchist house. You are free to stay with us and work with our group if you are interested. We welcome most anyone to our group." I lead him back to the house, but my mind is full and my mood is black.
As I lead him inside I make some final remarks.
"Humility is not a weakness, it is a strength and a characteristic I find admirable. Selflessness, humility, and compassion. These are the personality traits that I hold above all others. Since they demonstrate love for others above ones self, and love is the greatest and most powerful force of social change."

I sit in my office, flipping through my library of psychological knowledge for perhaps the millionth time.
"Ah Doctor Freud, you were too wise for this world," I say wistfully. "All I can do is share in your great legacy."

I complete all of my work early and check up on the progress rebuilding. So far, Dionysus has not reported back from his mission.
This new "little sister" project will greatly enhance our power.
I look over some reports that the FRA is back. This does not make me happy, but at least LIF has been quiet lately.
