Roane smiled despite her tears. She even giggled a bit.
You are silly baby. But we would be on the run again. And i know you wish to follow but i do not wish to put you in harms way. I have done that all to much because of my defection already. I love you but do not feel that you should feel obligated to follow me. I could not bear it.
Do you remember when i first defected? It was when tovio and swan and Alkanost were imprisoned? Even then i did not wish to put you in harms way. I realised that i had been following monsters...killing without regret. Killing without remorse. And i did it even though i was the same as i am now. Well not totally the same. You have changed me for the better. I actually questioned their tactics because of you son of Gaia. And thats why i can not have you in danger for me again. I almost lost you i can't again. You may come with me if we have to leave...but promise me that you will not leave me ever...that you will take me to your grave even. Promise me.
She reached up to touch his face.

"Come on now guys, a little capitalism is okay as long as it is monitored and controlled. Capitalism doesn't have to be bad all of the time, as long as it is regulated and environmentally friendly. I know a lot of former small business owners who are great guys. Nothing like the wasteful Dinari Dollars and Alexander Carnegies of the world." I reply.
I feel a little uncomfortable, like Bassarov is attacking my political beliefs. Yes, the Green Party is modestly capitalist, but he treats me like I am evil.
You can't paint all capitalists with the same brush.
"So what brings you two here?"

"I will not die, so you have no need to worry about that. But if it were to come to pass, I would not want to be part of Red Infinity anyway, so I would follow you."

"We just wanted to touch bases with you. I just wanted to check up and see how things are going with the Green Party."

I smirk. "It's good to see you're okay... Old man."

Roane lowers her head concealing her smile from him. He was very cute. He was always so proper and regal. Even when he was upset or when he was being sweet. She admired him for his dedication and loved him for his actions and who he was. He was loyal to his mother as was she now...utterly and completely. As she was to him. She would do anything for him. She wondered if he knew this.
So now what do we do? Until they are finished with their talk we will know nothing. And then he will speak with Bassarov and Mischa. What should we do in the meantime? We of course will need to speak with him but what do we do until then...
She was flirting but knew Grove would not get it. It seemed to be even better that he would think she meant action for the forest instead of intimacies. She hid her face to hide her smile.

"Ha yeah..." My nose blushes in embarassment.
"The Green Party is doing well. We were attacked a few times by the Bloodspeakers but managed to spring back. They took out some trees but we were able to regrow them. The base has also repaired itself nicely."
I look up at the two men.
"I am worried about this Tapio thing. It turns out that the Finnish god of nature, Tapio works for Red Infinity now. I am a follower of Tapio myself. But luckily for me, I always put my politics before my religion. It won't be so easy for others."

Grove smiled, but instead of standing he laid back, a thoughtful look on his face as he closed his eyes.
"I am tired. I think I will just rest fo a while..."

"A socialist party would never have that sort of problem since we are all atheists. Just tell this guy that the gods don't exist, it is all a sham, and that he has no obligation to follow this "Tapio" or whatever his name was."

"This would be disrespectul of his beliefs. He is a pagan priest who follows the very same god that I do. I am not about to advocate atheism, especially since I am not an atheist myself." I reply. Non religious people can sometimes be insensitive. I feel like I am not seen as intellectually their equal because of my religious and political beliefs. Bassarov can be arrogant about his beliefs sometimes.
"It is good to see both of you. I wish I had more Green Party people to talk to. There are a lot of really great environmentalists, but they aren't political. This makes it hard to push a political agenda."

Roane looked at him and almost chuckled. She then leaned against the wall as well.
Rest then baby. But wouldn't you rather go to the bed? Its more comfortable than the floor. As your copy watched over me i could you...And yes i knew you left him to watch me.
She tapped her knees with her hands.

"Yeah that sounds familiar..." I say running my hand through my hair. I cross my arms and turn to Valodya.
"Well Vossya, that was a little insensitive... Sorry Toivo... Just hear him out I suppose, you seem to be a stronger person than him..."

Grove smiled as he pointed to his back. Upon closer inspection it was obvious that his back was fuzed to the tree already.
"I am comfortable." he said jokingly.
His true thoughts however were scattered, and had general feelings of dissapointment, anger, and frustration. The very group he had just defended, and the leader of which had basically called people with the same opinion as he 'worse than Red Infinity.' He was unsure how to deal with this.

"Religion is idiocy, see the problems it causes. No good I tell you." Bassarov replies
"Sorry, I have been a little stressed. I am more abrassive than usual. But you really should come and visit us more Toivo. We really do enjoy your company. We face the same problems of political apathy. It makes things difficult. But look on the bright side, at least you still have your own political party."

"Yes, and I am proud of the Green Party. It is much different than it was in the past. I remember when we had 30% of the seats in the Finnish parliament, those were the days I tell you!"
I chuckle.
"People are just too nuetral. If people actually stood up to Red Infinity this could have been over a long time ago. But I they are afraid or something. It is an injustice though. It really is. The people give Red Infinity most of its power to do bad things just because they are too complacent to stand up. It is angering. Sheep. They are all sheep."
