And the pot calls the kettle black... I think. "That's a bit extreme, but I do agree with your basis. No one should get a free ride because they're lazy or try to make money off art or some other nonesense." And that's Red Infinity's problem, they are so interested in making everyone equal that they lost sight of the big picture... If not for them, and your foolish predecessors Dinari, we'd be exploring deep space right now.

"Oh you could say that... Yesterday was my birthday, and well, my first date. And Red Infinity ruined it!" Now more than ever I want to send Beijing into the stratosphere, but I know Bassarov would never forgive me if I did, so I push the thought out of my mind. "I'm sure you heard about the symphony... Well we were there..."

"Well poor people are poor because they are lazy. Some people this isn't true and we should help them out.... If they are sick and crippled or something... but most poor people are poor because of their addictions, their laziness, or their inability to spend and save wisely. I don't really have much compassion for poor people. My great great grandfather was poor and he made it."
I check my day planner and see I have a date later with Paris.
"Anyway, if we took care of all the poor people in the world there would be an over population problem and we would all starve. Poverty, war, and disease are just nature's way."

((Y'know, some how if figured that italics equalled telepathy)) Ashen keeps his smile. So, role playing. Now this was something he could get behind! He had always loved RPGs and other kinds of role playing. He'd be a great actor, if he wasn't so bad about having an audience. He loops his arm around Artemis' and smiles at the new girl. "Hello, I'm Ashen." He said, polite and jaunty. Keep his mouth shut and let Artemis handle this. Sure, the moon sounds just fine, though a little strange to me. He responded telepathicly.

I get tired of just being in a towel so I slip on a clean, black dress and tie my hair away. Again, I am sitting on the dryer with my romance book and my headphones blasting away. Sound is oblivious to me. My feelings are oblivious to me. Mary J. Blige soothes me and the book makes me wonder. The ending is wonderful. Two totally opposite people, connected by first sex then mutal love, come together. This is perfect. Wonderful. Why do they get to have the PERFECT life and I am stuck here, alone, wondering and confused. She wasnt confused. He d**n sure wasn't. I throw the book away. It wasnt garbage but it hurt me, none the less. I want to cry but such things are of the past now. Crying is the past. Feeling is the past. Love...
Where do I place love?

"That really is terrible. To think that Red Infinity would attack innocent concert goers! An outrage." Elijah replies. Although he is angered, his voice is always soft and mellow. "These acts will be their undoing. The people will not stand for this forever. That is where the hope in this world resides. It exists in the people and the power they have to change this world."

"Well I think everyone deserves an equal chance, regardless of race, national origin or their parents' income... But also if they squander that chance they shouldn't get a free ride. Where the hell is Alexander?"

"Valodya said much the same thing. Maybe some good can come of this... But what can I do? All I can think of is watching Beijing burn, and I can't do that. I have a lot of reasons to have Red Infinity, but I can't do nuts against them!"

"Equal chance? Ah, that is just fib. I say it when I am around liberals but really that is an ideal. In the real world, it never works."
"We can put some quotas and throw some token minorities into the universities and positions of power, but even that is unfair to all the qualified white males who don't get in because some woman or some minority who didn't work as hard as them was "given" their spot."
"You can never level the playing field. It is best not to try. I think it should be a free for all, and the people who make it, make it, and those who don't, don't."

((Y'know what I know?))
Artemis smiles up at Ashen then at Mui. Isn't he so cute? Anyways, I'll be with him for a while. Contact Adonis. Bye Mui. She leads Adonis out of the woods and on to the street and for a minute, her smile falters. Why is the Moon strange to you? Its in America.

"Sometimes change takes time. You stare out at an injustice that others don't see, and it burns you. But in time, things will improve. We simply must live out each day doing as much good as we can for others. That is why I am here. Maybe I can't topple Red Infinity, but I can help you, and I can help others. These little things help to alleviate that great suffering, the source of which we are so powerless against."

The mansion clears out quickly. Tracking each of the targets would prove too difficult. Best to return to his original assignment. Julie has not moved from the headquarters. He could tell because her signal was still hidden. The government buildings had defensive measures that went beyond their physical security.
Cloaking himself, Peter returns to the base, moving alon the outside until he is able to locate Julie visually through a window before she moves past it again. Still inside alright, and moving around. Well, all he could do was sit tight for now.

"All I am saying is equal work deserves equal merit..." And I rule here because I have the bombs, so back down okay? "In the late 1900s affirmitive action was declared unconstitutional for that very reason. I said I'm going to give everyone a chance, but in the end only the best will succeed."

Kade's head came into ful contact with a washing mahcine and he woke up. "f**king penguins!!!" He screamed, waking from his nightmare. He was panting, and he looked around wildly. When he saw he had only fallen asleep, he relaxed. "Bastards just keep coming, never stay down! My sanity will never be your you d**ned penguins, never!" He shouted. Then he got up and checked his watch. Back to work already? Oh well, work was always pretty. "Goodbye Cassinda." He said, then left for his lab.

"I have a date so I have to go. You and Alex can plan the rest."
I get up and teleport away.
I whistle a tune as I start looking for Paris.
