The Savage Stillness of the Universe

[Shard]

Shard tried his best to hold in his laughter. He started tapping his fingers, repeatedly and smirked.

[Øutlaw]

Tilted his head slightly off to one side; his raven fidgited a bit upon his outstretched hand. "Uh, thank, you.." He said, lowly and somewhat puzzled. "..This, is just my bird.." Blinked.

[Karen A.]

Karen shifts feet uneasily at the tapping. "Oh, sorry if I confused you! I was asking you your name.. Do you hear that?"

She asks, referring to the tapping.

[Øutlaw]

He had stood silent, and picked up a faint 'tapping' sound. He had looked around him, but found no source.

His raven, had restlessly flapped its wings, and opened its mouth; murring out nervously.

[Shard]

Shard chuckled and covered his mouth, sealing his lips closed. He started pounding his fist, making louder sounds.

[Øutlaw]

"Hm." Ketsu averted his gaze above, and spotted the figure settled upon the roof.

"Oh, I see.." He allowed his emotionless gaze to fall back down upon the girl before him; mildly interested in the man's little game.

[Karen A.]

Karen stands very still, her eyes closed. She suddenly smiles and opens her eyes. "Be right back." She says, before disappearing. She teleports behind the man making the noise in a flash, slapping her hands on her shoulders.

"Hello Mr. Noise maker!" She says with a big smile, leaning over the man's left shoulder to look at him. "It's not very nice to pound on a thing and make a young girl scared, you know!"

[Soren]

Soren turns to the stranger.

"Yeah, I'm Soren, what do you want?" He says in an unfriendly tone.

This is a force of habit.

[Øutlaw]

Ketsu closed his eyes, as the raven, now calmed, hopped along his arm, and to his shoulder.

Ketsu then crossed his arms over one another, and stepped over a sign at the curb, and leaned himself against it.

[Shard]

Shard nearly fell off the edge of the building, but immediately regained his balance. He looked to his left and stared at the girl. Shard stared at her straight in the eyes and smirked. "Heh.. i looove a fast woman.." He said quietly, trying to change the subject off of him.

[Rasputin]

"Yes Faust, let's go." Rasputin leads Faust out of the catacombes. They head towards the French nationalist HQ which is actually the palace of Versailles.

[Eliza]

I looked at the monk who arrived. "Hello, I am Eliza. I am the wife of Faust." I said smiling.

[Lady Violet]

"Nakia, Mr. Stalin's office is near my own. Your new job is to protect him from any threat." I tell Nakia via telepathy.
I finish my work today and return to my home.
I immediately go to Trotsky's room to check up on him. I thought of him frequently throughout the day.
"Leon, how was your day?"

[Karen A.]

"You're very cute and all, but I think I'd rather find out why the heck you were tapping on some roof then change the subject. What's your name?"

Karen asks, leaning back and twisting around so she falls onto the ledge that Shard was on so she was sitting next to him.

"Well thank you, Julia. I should hate you, but I somehow happen to like you." I say, already wanting another cigarette. I think I know why I like Julia. She's like nicotine.
