The Portrait of A Tyrant

[Josef Stalin]

Finally, Stalin found a place for his portrait. He hung it on the wall and looked at with a smile. In contrast, while it looked similar to Stalin, there were key differences. Stalin's portrait had broader shoulders, his skin was darker in complexion, he was more muscular and there was not a grey hair on his head.

In reality, Stalin was a tad on the short side and was slightly overweight. His shoulders were not as broad as people think and his hair was more grey than black. Still, it seemed to phase him little.

"Beautiful..." he said.

[Nakia Vanamo]

"Yes sir," Naika nodded in agreement as she looked his way.

[Erika "Zwei" Faust]

Invoulintarialy I shudder. "That is bad. Hitler betrayed Stalin, and it's obvious what side I was on. But I am looking foreward to classes, especially since you are teaching." I say to Despair.

[Dariya Pisarev]

I finish my knitting and see that there is a new nihilist around the house. I stuff the scarf into my knitting bag, with red yarn and my needles.

Finally, I am not the only woman around here."

This woman looks somehow strange. I am not sure what it is about her, but she reminds me of a house plant.

[Josef Stalin]

Stalin had placed his portrait between two of his close friends. To the left of Stalin was Adolf Hitler. To his right, Mussilini(spell?). He turned to head back to his office with Nakia.

"So, you work for Red Infinity long?" he asked, that thick Russian accent cutting through his voice.

[Poison Ivy]

I turn to the women who just spoke. "Well hello, you must be a nihilist? My name is Ivy, Poison Ivy." I said to her. *Well, hopefully this girl isn't as rude as Soren.* I thought. *AFter all were on the same side.* I thought.

[Nakia Vanamo]

"I have not worked as long as others have, although I have worked here long enough to have incorporated myself in their system. I am in acutallity a geologist, I was hoping that Red Infinity would sponser my projects but I have since then become preoccupied," Nakia said as she followed him back to the office as she was constantly looking around.

[Lady Violet]

I decide that the Minister of War, Donald Morton should meet with Stalin. I contact him over the phone.

"Mr. Morton, there is someone who I would like you to meet, his name is Joseph Stalin and his office is near my own. He is going to be a political and military advisor around here. It would be best if you met with him today."

I also call Tsubaki.

"Tsubaki, it has come to my attention that there are some portraits of fascists on the walls of the International HQ. Would you please report there and remove the pictures of Hitler and Mussolini. I want them replaced with pictures of Stalin, Mao Zedong, and Fidel Castro. Take the pictures and burn them. That is your mission."

Stalin nods and walks into his office. If the fixed up portrait didn't show his ego for himself, the office did. Right behind his desk was a super-sized version of the portrait described earlier.

On his desk was a Joseph Stalin collectable 12" doll-I mean, "Action Figure". The bookshelf in his office was filled with books about himself, Hitler and Mussilini. The only videos in the room were the series he directed. A propaganda series meant to make him seem more important in earlier history. The films were well written, but lacked much factual context.

Then, as if all that wasn't enough, his name plate read "Stalin: Man of Steel"

[Grove]

Grove still leaned against the tree, Roane at his side. His heart had sank from Tovio's words, and he was still feeling it. He ran his hand down Roane's arm.

"How are you doing?"

[Nakia Vanamo]

Nakia followed Stalin in his office and couldn't help but smirk, but said nothing as she followed him.
"So sir, what sort of activity do you have planned?"

[Josef Stalin]

"Paperwork for day is already done. Nothing to do but relax until something come up." he said, leaning back in his chair and gesturing for Nakia to do the same.

"If you want, we could watch movie."

[Donald Morton]

"I agree that would be wise, I will report to the Headquarters immediately. Oh, and you will be pleased to hear that the first stage of the Little Sister initiative is complete. We need to make arrangements to move the Core to the Ministry of Information so they can connect it to their spy networks, but that is not my concern. I'll be there in a moment." I stop by the Technologies branch and pick up two book-sized mahogany boxes, and teleport to Violet's office.

[Dariya Pisarev]

"Of course I am a nihilist, that's why I'm here. My name is Dariya Pissarev, what's yours?"

[Nakia Vanamo]

Nakia held up her hand in objection. "No sir that is quite allright. Might I remind you that I am on duty."
She kept her voice very polite as she talked to him.
