"Hmmm... I don't really have the capacity to feel pain, so either is fine. Whichever pleases you more my lord," Seven states.

Raz contacts Ezra.
*in hebrew* Hi Ezra, sorry I've been out of contact for a few days. We had a coup over at auxilliary HQ, and Major General Ben Yitzhak is out. By the by, I've been promoted. I am now Major Ze'ev. We have a mission regarding the French nationalist group, La Resistance. We want to form an alliance. Get the folder for them, and meet me in Paris, at the usual meeting place in Paris.

"Infinity... such arrogence. Red Infinity, rule of red on into the endlessness of time...
There is only one conclusion that I have been able to come to Hope: Red Infinity destroys lives. Lives like our's. Your advanced enough to be sheilded so I'm sure you remember. Almost a year ago Kaschei turned back time by several months. I remember what I was like before he turned time back. I was happy.
They've ruined my life several times. Everytime I was almost happy, they crushed me. And not just me. The rebels, all of them, not just Bassarov's, everyone has had their life destoryed.
Hope, we were created with a purpose. If we follow that purpose is our ultimate choice. Hope, I came here to ask for your help. Infinity corrupts everything it touches, and it always will. A system that fails it must be removed.
We need to remove the ruling system, or nothing will change."

Illidan felt uncomfortable watching Kaieka talk to Kassenia. He is glad to be leaving that tense situation. "We could go out for coffee." Illidan suggests as they leave the Ministry.

My fists are still tightly balled.
"I don't think that coffee will cut it tonight. I need something stronger, much stronger... and I don't mean espresso. Come on, let's get out of here."
We walk up the stairs and out of the Ministry doors.

"Yes, that is the reason I exist and the reason I will continue to exist. There is too much suffering in this world. Until I cease fuctioning completely, I will fight them."
I stand up and fold my arms behind my back. I still feel that ache, but there is a purpose that this ache can motivate.
"Then please don't fight me and I won't fight you again. I know sometimes you have fought rebels. It is so counter productive. We seek the same things. Change and to restore hope and goodness to the world, at least to some small degree."

Illidan doesn't like to see Kaieka so upset. He doesn't like it one bit. He also doesn't like the idea of going out drinking. But he remains quiet. He doesn't want to anger her any more than she already is. "Okay we can do whatever you want!" He says cheerfully as he is lead out of the Ministry of Terror.

"Hmmm, well... could you get me some tea please dear? I'm afraid I'm coming down with something," Dr. Murdock lies effortlessly. She wants to look around Julia's apartment. She doesn't ordinarily snoop into her own opertives lives, but Julia's suspicious behavior has piqued her curiosity.

"Exactly my point. Division is our enemy. I'm not talking about a cease fire, I'm talking about forming a new alliance. Humility aside, you and I are among the most powerful things walking this earth. If we work together and gather others like us, we might stand a chance of surviving long enough to build a rebellion.
Surely you've seen Bassarov's forces. Disordered, without leadership, more concerned with their personal lives than the fate of the world.
I'm leaving the L.I.F. It's time for a new power to begin rising. Hope," Peter lays a hand on her shoulder, "You, are a leader. People followed you because they wanted to, not because they had to. If we work together, we can begin to create change."

"Sure I can make you some tea, Dr. Murdock. My home is yours, you are welcome here whenever you like. I really do admire you and all. You work so hard. If only I could....be so dedicated."
I don't want to waste time boiling water on the stove so I microwave it.
I throw a tea bag of Mint Medley into a mug. Nothing is too good for Dr. Murdock!"
"Here you are, Dr. M. ..Can I call you that? I really want to get along with you and serve you the best I can."

"Grand."
Silently strolling down the darkened city streets, we pass by cracked windows and darkened storefronts. Heading into the seedy part of town that functions in the dark hours, we approach some sort of old tavern. Half of the letters have already fallen off of the sign, but a red dragon is still visible, paint chipping off of the old wood.
Inside, the air is smokey, like walking through a thick haze. Faces look angry and hardened. Illidan looks a little uncomfortable. I place my hand on his arm to reassure him. He needn't worry when he's with me. I will take care of him.
Shot glasses just don't seem large enough tonight, after my meeting with Kassenia I feel enraged and embittered. I order a double shot and tell the bar tender that they should keep coming. I take my drink to an open booth with water rings and old cigarette butts on the tabletop.
"Don't worry, my friend... All will be well. Can I order you anything?"
The server has come by to replace my empty glass.

I'm shocked and really don't know what to say.
"I used to lead my own small rebel group but we merged with Bassarov. It is possible that I could start up another rebel group and have another go at doing things on my own. We were doing well. Many public works at least. I need to move somewhere remote so I can train and unlock my powers."
This idea of Peter's seems like a good one. I could leave Helsinki and go elsewhere, forming a new rebel group, and training for the ulitmate battle against Lin-Sat.
"Red Infinity would not be hard to topple, if we could kill a few key people at the top. It would fall into chaos and a new regime could replace it."

"I'll have a diet sprite!" Illidan chirps. Kaieka seems to be ina better mood now that she is away from the Ministry of Terror. "I know you are angry about Kassenia. I would be too if someone cloned me. But maybe you should think of her as like a sister or someone who you share a connection with. She is not that much like you. Only in appearance. I know, because after you died, I spend a lot of time with her."

"...I don't care how it got there, do your job, and deal with it... That's not my problem... No, this isn't a big enough issue for me to address... Alright, here's the deal, if you don't come to me every time some bored anarchist hacks into our website, then I won't berate you, how's that sound?"
I close my cell phone, annoyed that any PR problem, no matter how mnior, is immediately thrown to me.
"Take me to the bar, Vincent."
Vincent nods, and heads to the bar. My one night off in the entire week, and it's going to be spent drinking. How productive.
