I hear a knock at the door.
"d**n!" I leave Mischa on the bedroom floor, throw a blanket over him, and slam the door. I rush out to the living room and answer the door only to see that it is my employer. Could things get any worse?!
I lean against the door frame, looking as cavalier as posible.
"Hello Dr. Murdock. Wow, things sure have been crazy for me. Did you here that I fought Peter the Owl? I'm really lucky to be alive. You look good. New hairstyle maybe?"

Xavier walks with her arm in arm with some reluctance. He really doesn't like to be attached to anyone more than a few hours. He doesn't want some of his comrades to mistake her for his girlfriend. But since she is someone he could potentially sleep with, he doesn't protest. He walks with Karina to the dwelling (apartment, room, ?) of Phillipe and knocks on the door. "He should be in." He could smell quiche all the way down the hall and assumes that Phillipe was cooking again.

"Ah, Phillippe! Bonjour, ca va? Come in, come in, your friend is also welcome."

"No," Dr. Murdock responds. She notes Julia's current state. Elevated heartbeat, slight sweating, slightly dialated pupils, unconcious facial signs... Dr. Murdock can tell that Julia is nervous about something. She doesn't show her cards.
Dr. Murdock smiles a half smile and attempts to look friendly.
"May I come in?"
It isn't so much a request as it is an order.

"Do I smell quiche?" Xavier asks rhetorically as he makes his way to the kitchen and helps himself to some left overs. He notices Anna sitting in the living room, but since he is with Karina he decides not to talk to her. He sits up on the kitchen counter as he eats the quiche. "Zero left suddenly, but maybe I can get Karina to stay a little longer."

I roll my eyes at Xavier's behavior.
"Oui, zat is quiche. I made plenty if you and Madmoiselle Karina would like some."

After basking in the sun I decide to go to Phillipe's location, to make another attempt to enchant Phillippe. I went to my helicopter and landed on the site. I got off and walked inside. "Bonjur!" I said smiling. i was in my pink dress, my best kind of dress to lure Phillippe into my mists. I walk over to phillippe and kiss him.

"Dr. Murdock, I know I have been doing a sucky job. Please don't fire me. Please. I want to do better. I want to serve Red Infinity. I don't know what's wrong with me. But, but I could do something big! I could capture say...a key rebel!" I know she is on to me. It is hard to read her mind but from what little I can sense, I know she suspects me.

I am more than a little surprised by Paris's appearance.
"Oh... er... 'ello Madmoiselle Paris," I say, gently disentangling myself from her.

"It seems you have quite a few admirers lately, Phillipe. I saw a hot red haired woman leave your apartment as I was coming to meet you. What's your secret? Is it something in the quiche?" He asks jokingly.

My face turns a deep shade of red.
"Oh, she is wanting to join La Resistance, she is descended from Monsieur Hugo 'imself. She said she was feeling unwell, so I shall 'ave to contact 'er later. And as far as ze quiche, everyone loves quiche, nobody can resist ze quiche."

"It's gotta be the quiche." Xavier says with a laugh. He bounces off the counter and throws his dish in the sink.
