"Think on the bright side, this is sort of like starting over. Things will work out somehow. You are my friend and I do care about you. Please don't take this personally."

"I'm not taking this personally..." I say quickly... "SOrry... I guess I am... I want you sooo badly. I know it will work out... I'm just being selfish and don't want to wait. Ohhhh man... I gotta have a smoke." I move as if to stand, but I remain seated. I give him a friendly peck on the cheek, enough to let him know that I still care, but not enough to excite him greatly.

Bassarov feels unburdoned by all of this. He sits down.
"So about the rebels. How do you feel about some of them breaking off to join Peter and Hope?"

"Peter the Owl?! Yob tvoyu mat!" I say as I lean back on the chair, my lust and angst forgotten for the moment. "Bunch of unloyal not a very nice persons. Sorry. Who all left?"

"Hope, Zex, Lemminkainen, Kinyo-bi, Cat, Leon, and Athena. There may be others, but those are the main ones." Bassarov replies. He snickers at Zero's colourful language.
"They are all going to Lapland for special training. I suppose they feel I am not organized enough or don't agree with my objectives."

"Other than Hope I was never too impressed with any of their loyalties anyways... But that's not the point. What can Hope and Peter offer that we can't?" I say as I put a cigerette between my lips and give Bassarov the please look.

"I don't know. My work is politically centered. It's goal is to raise mass awareness and mobilize the masses towards revolution. Peter on the other hand simply wants to kill Lin-Sat and Violet. His is a more direct approach to change, but would create a power vacuum and could lead to a worse government. I have found that political change that is not driven by the people, usually does not turn out well."

That's why you should order me to kill those two, then sieze power once they are gone... Once the power is yours you can do with it what you please, even if it is to give it to the People... "Oh... I'm sorry to say but I agree more with them, but I will stay and help you anyways. After all you do still need my protection."

"Thanks, I don't mind so much that the rebel movement is splitting up again. Most likely, I will call the Japanese rebels back here until we can build up members again." Bassarov replies.
"My focus now is going to be the 4th international, so having fewer rebels around makes that easier for me."
Bassarov leans back in his chair.
"Mischa will be back soon and it would be better if you weren't here. Would you mind going to the base and seeing if Iltanesh ever met with Erin?"
(have to go, good night)

When Despair walks in I am asleep, and his voice awakens me. "What was that?" I ask him.

"I'll do that... Good luck." I say as I walk out of his apartment and onto the street. Immediately I light up and start walking, by the time I have reached my apartment I have had six cigarettes. I shut and lock the door, go to my bedroom, strip and climb into bed. Since I can't get what I want from Bassarov I'm just going to have to pleasure myself, something that strangely I have never tried before...
Half an hour and a quick shower later I walk out of my apartment, totally unsatisfied but no longer mad with lust. I go to my office and begin organizing what little information we have...
(well since everyone else left so am I...)

Tirfi walked down a dark alley way of the city and leaned his back onto the wall, slowly sliding down to the ground. "I'm gonna have to find a good bounty.. or else i'll have to steal for food.." He muttered with a smirk. Tirfi didn't have a home.. but he didn't seem to care.. People with homes.. People without homes.. their all the same.. so it doesn't really matter. He sighed and stared up at the sky. "huh... i wonder what Avihs is doing right now... meh...." He paused for a second. "Who cares..." He muttered with a shrug.

After taking the long way home, I finally arrive at my apartment, a little surprised to see Valodya standing before me.
"Ahh Vossya! Just the man I wanted to see." I say, strangely out of character. "So I uh, went looking for Trotsky."

"You appear to be in good spirits. I wish I could say the same. I feel a little..numb. I broke things off with Zero just now." Bassarov says in a cool tone. He is unsure how he feels about this just yet. He looks up at Mischa.
"And so what of this Trotsky imposter?"

I make a goofy grimace, and wrap my arms around him.
"Ahh my Vossya!" I say, squeezing the life out of him. "I don't really know what to say... I'm very ecstatic about this." I kiss him on the cheek, then sit down beside him.
"Oh, and about the Trotsky thing... He's sort of living with Lady Violet."
